Check in and out was efficient Sometimes the desk isn’t manned and they just leave the QR code out for the app which hopefully answers all your questions but it loses the personal touch. Sonia housekeeping, Maria omelettes, Victoria restaurant, Domingo pool towels were all friendly and efficient and helped me along improving my Spanish Pros beach location, pool area (not sure if there would be enough sun beds if the hotel is full) pool towels are good. Everywhere very clean, housekeeping out early sweeping up Reception toilets nice and clean, pool toilets not so good Gardens well maintained and nice shaded areas Wi fi very good everywhere Junior suite large and airy little outdated, large balcony with sun beds but it doesn’t get the sun on it Comfy bed once we had got some extra pillows Bath towels are thin and not great, robes are ok Breakfast usual buffet style but not much hot selection The restaurant is more like a canteen, service not great, food not brilliant, good selection of wines though No dress code enforced which would be the norm in 5 star establishment Normally you would be greeted and seated, but not so, find your own seats and then try and get served drinks. Service very poor to remove used plates from tables ended up putting them on the adjacent table I have never seen tip boxes on show in a restaurant before, I always tip individuals for good service and I found the tip boxes a little bit distasteful Not much around the hotel like tapas bars and restaurants etc Good Mercadona supermercado walk half a mile away Beach bar good but you have to pay extra for the sun beds and parasols Good program of events but the animation team are not very animated, didn’t come round and talk to anyone to ask if you were going to take part in anything Price quality ratio ok for a Four Star Hotel, if you don’t expect Five Star standards and quality then you won’t be disappointed!

Very disappointed about the service staff at the reception. Firstly they sold me the pool bed for 14 € with a plate of fruits and immediately after I signed it and asked about the fruits I got the information that fruits are not included, I had to order another package for the double price. The other staff confirmed again. Very disappointing arrival day!

Spent a week here and really enjoyed ourselves. Pros: The All Inclusive is excellent. Plenty of choices for drinks at all the bars. One night included in the specialty restaurant. Only a 10 euro charge for the Beach Bash BBQ including drinks. Plenty of lounge chairs around the pool. Excellent staff...very friendly and accommodating. Buffet had plenty of choices and the desserts were yummy! Loved going to the beach bar each day! Nightly entertainment was fun. Rooms were clean. Cons: The pool is too cold to enjoy. Some people did but not for long. The beds are somewhat uncomfortable and may be at the point of replacing. Could use more daytime activities. When getting the fish, make sure it cooked thoroughly. (ask them to leave on grill a little longer) We had a major issue with our AC...ended up switching rooms but the staff was extremely helpful. Overall and excellent week!

Die Erwartungen, die an die 5 Sterne im Eingangsbereich geknüpft sind, wurden leider nicht erfüllt. Es ist sicherlich kein schlechtes Hotel, aber wirklich überzeugen konnte es uns nicht. Für andalusische Verhältnisse ist das Frühstück sehr gut. Auch gab es ausreichend Platz im Restaurant. Die Zimmer waren nicht besonders geschmackvoll eingerichtet, aber sauber. Bis man aber zu den Zimmern kam, bedurfte es einiger langer Wege, da es nur eine zentrale Aufzugsanlage gab. Die Duschen halten leider nicht konsequent die Temperatur, sodass es zu Schwankungen in beide Richtungen kommt. Aufgrund der Bauweise (Innenhofcharakter) hallt es extrem. Schon vor Sonnenaufgang werden Reinigungsarbeiten mit dem Kärcher durchgeführt und das ohne Rücksicht auf die Gäste. Abends ist das „Showprogramm“ einfach zu laut, „Künstler“ verstecken ihre schwache Stimme hinter Geschrei und Lautstärke. Vor 23 / 23:30 Uhr war nicht an Ruhe zu denken. Weiterhin muss man sehr auf seine Privatsphäre achten, da das Zimmer von allen Seiten eingesehen werden kann. Wir hatten aufgrund unserer Erfahrungen mit andalusischen Hotels nur ÜF gebucht und haben aus diesem Grunde das kulinarische Angebot von Isla Cristina ausprobiert. Dieses Mal konnten wir uns nicht auf den einen gemeinsamen Favoriten festlegen, da jeder von uns ein anderes Lieblingsgericht in den besuchten Restaurants hatte. Mit dem Besuch folgender Restaurants kann man definitiv nichts falsch machen : - Meson El Gato - El Amarre - La Boccana - Ambrosia Alle genannten Restaurants bieten gute Speisen für einen fairen Preis!

Wir waren in diesem Jahr das dritte Mal, und diesmal für drei Wochen, im TUI Blue Isla Cristina Palace. Es ist für uns wie ein „nach Hause kommen“. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das überaus freundliche und kompetente Personal. Wer einen Urlaub zum Entspannen am Pool, ausgedehnten Spaziergängen am Strand mit hundertprozentiger Schönwettergarantie, ein wenig Animation (Sport und Spiel), die nicht zu aufdringlich ist und gutes Essen und Trinken sucht, kann in diesem „Adults-Only“-Hotel nichts falsch machen. Ja, der Ort Isla Cristina bietet außer der Lage am Meer nicht viel, daher ist es aber auch nicht so touristisch wie woanders. Hier machen hauptsächlich Spanier Urlaub. Aber Isla Cristina hat nette Restaurants und Bars mit bestem Seafood (aufgrund des Hafens). Und wir haben zum zweiten Mal die Fiesta de la Carmen mit erlebt. Wer Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung machen möchte, kann dies über die angebotenen Ausflüge der TUI tun oder mit einem Mietwagen z.B. nach Sevilla fahren. Wir haben aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen im Hochsommer bisher davon abgesehen. Dafür waren wir mehrmals auf verschiedenen Plätzen in der näheren Umgebung (auch in Portugal) Golfspielen. Das hat, samt Transfer mit dem Taxi, unkompliziert funktioniert.
