My wife and I spent five nights at BOCO during our recent trip to Malta. We have friends who had stayed at BOCO and they recommended it as well as the room with a terrace and secret coffee room. We thoroughly enjoyed the terrace, having breakfast there each morning and also resting there in the afternoon after a day of sightseeing. Kunal checked us in and was very helpful in making restaurant recommendations and reservations for us. BOCO is located in a convenient location for walking to the ferry and to Fort St. Angelo and to the restaurants along the harbor. We can highly recommend BOCO for your stay in Malta.

Very nice and cosy Hotel. The owner Tony is very helpful. The first day I arrived, he gave me a little round tour through the hotel, and explained everything. On top, he gabe me ahint where to go and what to see. The hotel is very familiar. The staff is great. The Rooms are spacious and very nicely designed. You have a great choice for breakfast, just order the day before and pick it up. You can enjoy it on the rooftop with a great view on the harbour and Valetta. In addition you also habe a geat choice of any kind of beverages. Well assorted wines, beer, spft drinks etc. and enjoy the evenings also on the rooftop…. Nothing to add, a perfect stay, very relaxing and easy going Forgot to say. The hotel is located very close to the ferry, 5mins as well as to the next bus stop, very convenient!

We loved the BOCO hotel! Quirky rooms and arty decor, which makes for an interesting stay. Great location in a very interesting, friendly neighbourhood. We found it easily from the ferry from Valletta, although initially it's a bit of a climb uphill with luggage! The penthouse honesty bar is a great plus and the view from the terrace is fantastic, and a wonderful place to eat breakfast or for a late night drink. Breakfast choices were good and set us up for the day well. It was a pleasure to meet Tony (and hear the tale of BOCO man) and his lovely, helpful staff, Kunal and Shanaia. Thank you, we will be back!

The hotel was difficult to find as it was in a maze of narrow streets and alleyways. The room was adequate however we found the door very difficult to open, the bed small and the mattress uncomfortable. Being over 6" I had to stoop or risk banging my head every time I went to the bathroom. Breakfast was carefully rationed (see photo) and choice very limited. On a more positive note the view from the roof garden over the city was good.

Fantastic location in quiet street not far from restaurants, sites and ferry to Valletta. Brilliant service and comfy bed in decent sized room. Great view from the penthouse balcony (lucky enough to be there when Malta International Fireworks display was on)

You won’t regret staying at BOCO’s Boutique Hotel ! Tony and his staff give you that great welcoming feeling and take their time to explain everything, from what to see, to where to eat and how to get there! Well situated, you can do a lot by foot, historical sites, restaurants & bars or just strolling through the beautiful streets. Public transport to a lot of places is nearby as is the ferry to go to Valletta. I had a room with balcony at the street side with a spacious bathroom! If you’re a light sleeper, don’t forget your earbuds, because noises from the street can travel to your room even in this calm street.
