Just returned from our second visit (first was last year and we upgraded to a Junior Suite on arrival). This time we decided not to upgrade and had a superior room overlooking the garden . We could see the harbour in the distance and actually preferred this to a pool view. We were checked in and given a complimentary drink. They have introduced wrist bands instead of key cards. My husband preferred it as he kept losing the card last year. I hated it and immediately took it off. Personally I think it looks cheap and I'm not wearing an advert for the hotel for two weeks! Breakfast was lovely. Coffee had improved since last year but I have the same complaint about the mushrooms! Please don't book bacon in with the mushrooms as it limits the options for none meat eaters. Never had a problem getting a sunbed around the pool . I am not sure if people are supposed to vape around the pool. If they're not, then the hotel need to police it better as I noticed quite a few people this year. My personal preference is that vapers and smokers should use the designated smoking area. Apart from one waiter around the pool, the staff are lovely. My husband ordered cocktails and the waiter said he'd bring them over. 15 minutes later I went to check on our order and could see the drinks on a tray. The waiter said he'd walked around the pool area 4 times. I don't think he could have. He then said he'd have to make fresh drinks as the original ones were ruined. I just thought it was a bit rude and abrupt. However, overall this is a lovely hotel. Great location and so peaceful around the pool. If you want entertainment and music this is not the place for you. We love it and will return.

Had a really good few days so far. We are here for 2 weeks. We were offered free drinks on arrival whilst checking in. Given our wristbands and offered help with cases - we are on first floor so it was easy to get to our room. The bed wasn't so comfy but the staff told house keeping about it and they put a topper on it. Also shower drain wasn't working too well so maintenence arrived quickly and fixed it in minutes. Any problems just tell the staff and they're quick to sort it. It's so close to the beach here which I love. You can relax on beach and swim in the sea. I actually learnt to swim in the sea yesterday which is fantastic so I'll be using the hotel pool today - which is apparently heated so can't wait for that ! If you're half board like we are then you get a nice breakfast and evening meal. (That's what the wrist bands are for) Breakfast is a buffet with, fruit, meats, cheese, yogurts, cereal.. There is different breads to choose from which you can toast. Plus eggs, sausages, beans, bacon etc.. ! Yum. Dinner is basically a buffet of starters - soup, salad, bread and sometimes different items to try. Then you choose from the menu what you'd like for dinner. So far we have had the salmon, lasagna and prawn tagliatelle. Very nice. If you want to switch dinner for lunch just tell reception. Smoking and vaping is not allowed around the dinner area. So unfortunately if you're a smoker you'll need to smoke in the area provided which is further down. There is a seating area with ash trays. No smoking around pool either ! It's very quiet here and relaxing. Mostly older people here. No children which is nice as it's adults only. So if you like a very quiet holiday with no entertainment or kids then this is the perfect hotel for you. We are missing having some entertainment to be honest and some music.. but it's not so bad.. There's plenty of places near by that can offer that. All in all a great time so far and the staff are brilliant. Also - water machine is located in library room so you can fill your water bottle up whenever needed for free. :)

I write this review while lying on the balcony in junior suite 201. We have just spent 9 wonderful days here . Let’s start with hotel location , fantastic , in the middle of where you need to be but very quiet . Being an adult only hotel the clientele are slightly older leading to a calm and chilled ambiance . The pool is heated and always quiet with plenty of sun beds available all day ( this is due to lots of people using their junior suite terraces ) . We were bed & breakfast , always lots of choice and as my partner is vegan she’s was pleasantly surprised at the choice she had . Staff are attentive , courteous and polite . The junior suites are spacious with a huge bed and great walk in shower . The rooms are cleaned to a high standard every day . We had only one negative , the Air conditioning is really poor producing no cold air , noisy and inefficient. I complained on 4 occasions to be told it was working fine which was frustrating . We were offered another room but it was no better there . We encountered many other guests with the same gripe . Some guests even restored to buying fans at the local markets . As mentioned a great hotel and this was our only fault we could find . We would return but only at certain times of the year as with the current AC a summer visit would be unbearable .

Overall lovely clean hotel. Great location and lovely big room. It loses a star due to very poor breakfast, more so the hot food not being hot and eggs fired or scrambled were either over done or half cooked. Even the water for cup of tea out of the machine was not boiling. Also lunch does not start til 1pm which is a first.

Just come back from the h10 ocean dunes stayed 5 days It’s a lovely place we had a junior suite room 251 sun was on our side early afternoon till about 6 which was lovely as they had sun beds on the balcony so we used to go up about 4 and sit outside on the balcony but saying that there was plenty of sun beds and at the time we was there no one put their towels down only when they were going to breakfast and then after they came out and sat down on them The pool is nice as well and a lifeguard was present Food was nice but I’m afraid the cooked breakfast was cold such a shame but there was plenty of continental choice Staff was lovely have to give a 5 star rating for Sarah, Johnathan at the front reception and Caroline and a couple more in the restaurant who bent over to help you so nice happy and polite In all the hotel itself was adults only and I do believe it does cater for the more senior age group and disabled as there is a stairlift going up on part of the lobby to the 2nd floor ( it is only 2 storey) The hotel is in a prime position right in the middle of the shops and restaurants but is so quiet and peaceful Would I stay there again the answer would be a diffident yes

Upon arrival we were seated and given a cool glass of cava which we really appreciated after a very early start to the day. Our room preference had been noted and we were given a room with a garden view on the first floor. We'd upgraded to a superior room and were somewhat surprised by how small the room was compared with the photos on their website. There seemed to be very little storage, hardly any drawers and nowhere to hang maxi dresses. Also, finding a location to dry my hair was a bit of a problem, only one mirror on the inside of the wardrobe door but then nowhere to put hairdryer/straighteners/hairbrushes down. Why don't hotels seem to have dressing tables anymore? Breakfast was hit and miss, there was no continuity with the hot food selection, some of it looked like food from the evening meal that was repurporsed. Also, when dishes ran out they took ages to be replenished, especially fried eggs. I was asked during check-in if I'd any allergies and wish I'd mentioned I wasn't keen on mango because almost all the fruit dishes and yoghurts contained mango. A nice touch at breakfast was the cava though. On reflection we wouldn't have chosen a garden view room because there was literally nothing to see except the tops of trees, I'd recommend a pool view room to anyone visiting this hotel. At one stage I felt there were insects in my room so did request for it to be cleaned. I don't think it was properly cleaned though which was a shame because we only had cleaning once in 7 days so would have expected it to be done thoroughly with fresh towels. No fresh towels were given though and there is a charge for changing pool towels. The pool area is spotlessly clean with plenty of sunbeds, parasols and side tables. Nice area and extremely quiet. The evening meals were the best part of the hotel. Buffet style for the starters and desserts and a la carte for the main course with plenty of choice. The food is cooked to order and the service from the waiting staff is impeccable making it a wonderful dining experience.
