Fabulous hotel with even better staff. Loved chilled out 5 nights away. We were AI so the contents of the mini fridge in the room could be used. There was wine, fruit & pastries in the room on arrival. We had a “sunset” room and the sun was on the balcony from 2.30ish. The room was huge and the bed very comfy. Maids changed the towels every day. The staff are lovely and genuinely look like they want to work here. Managers are visible and talk to guests. People previously have commented on the steep stairs to the beach but there’s a lift you can use to the beach bar, then they aren’t as bad. Take advantage of eating in the A La Carte restaurant as the meal was delicious and the service was excellent. Will definitely return for another chilled out holiday.

Located in Coral Bay beautiful scenery / sunsets. Choice of 2 beaches. I was in room 614 and the view was stunning - even saw a wedding going on in the Sister hotel from my balcony. Sun is on the balcony from about 3 ish. Very quiet and relaxing. Pool towels are given out on arrival daily to the pool or you can just help yourself if staff not there. Rooms are very clean, everything is free of charge of charge Tea, Coffee and milk etc , bottle of water daily - only thing you pay for is anything in the fridge. Waiters come around the pool area which is great, but I would recommend getting a receipt every time you pay for drinks etc as I used to run a tab during the day for a few bits then pay at the end of the day , so on the day of leaving I should have had a nil balance, I was told I owed 7 euros, then the bar said 15 euros, it was extremely embarrassing however I knew 100% that my tab was cleared daily. All staff were extremely helpful but the Receptionists are outstanding! Nothing was too much trouble - a few times my milk was not left in the room and they kept sorting it out for me! It was my 60th whilst I was away and one of the receptionists had requested a cake - the next day she asked if id enjoyed it, but it didn't arrive - however it was a nice thought! It was an amazing hotel, breakfast was superb - my first trip alone and I would recommend it for Solos/Couples/Groups. Adult only. Outside steps to beach are not for fainthearted, steep with a rope hand rail. Although you can use the restaurants at the sister hotel Coral Beach Hotel if you were All Inclusive , you couldn't use the pools which was a real shame as the sun is off the pool around 3/4 oclock, whilst the sun is on the other hotel pool all day. Great stay and hotel was excellent all staff where great and room was very clean and cleaners where superb We have already booked to stay again next April 2026 and look forward to enjoying the hotel again and hopefully meeting up with new friends we met at hotel this year again

Had a fantastic stay at the hotel! The manager was professional, friendly, and ensured everything ran smoothly. The Nepali staff were warm, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, making our stay very comfortable. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

How thrilled are we to be returning to the Thalassa at Coral Bay. We spent a month here in October - it should have been 2 weeks, but we changed our plans and stayed another 2 weeks! Superb experience all round, charming reception from Thias, Athina & Adrina, our thanks. Artemis, our Maitre d' running the restaurants with smooth charming efficiency. Breakfast especially good, along with all the restaurants. Lovely comfortable rooms with superb views, a hotel with all the 5☆ facilities you need without being too large. We cannot recommend The Thalassa Hotel & Spa enough. Gail & Michael Price

Wow what can I say this hotel is absolutely beautiful from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left it was amazing the location is perfect for us right on the beach and a short stroll the a few bars and restaurants not that you need to leave the hotel though because everything is there on tap for you the food was outstanding and I have come home a few lbs heavier. The room was spotlessly clean Modern and comfortable with the most amazing panaromic view . The beach area was lovely with fresh towels daily the pool area was so tranquil and surrounded areas so pretty and clean staff are very accommodating and attentive we met the General manager on a few occasions around the terrace she went out of her way to talk to us and ask how things were such a lovely lady a credit to the hotel I found the only downside was that I had to leave to come home 4 days wasn’t enough but we have rebooked already to visit twice again this year. All in all this hotel and staff has stolen my ❤️
