With stunning OCEAN VIEWS, this Coral Bay bedroom suite in St John is tucked in the countryside, yet convenient to beaches. Kitchenette for light meals, indoor powder room (outdoor shower), BBQ, AC, TV, Wifi. Great for hikers, nature lovers & other travelers looking for a cozy, tropical little hideaway while seeking outdoor adventure as you visit St John USVI island. 500 ft elevation, fully paved road, convenient drive to all St John beaches, above Coral Bay restaurants/bars, shops, grocery. This unit is called Horizon Terrace at Vista Bahia St John. (Location pin in VRBO does not show location accurately and we have tried to fix it. The actual location on VRBO map should be the intersection of Calvert Marsh Road (also known as Route 108/Bordeaux Mtn Road) and Gerda Marsh road. We have easy access on a main/paved road Route 108 and a great water view). ALL ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATIONS OF THIS RENTAL: The interior of this unit is similar to amenities of a hotel room (bed with side tables and a side chair). This suite also has an indoor wet bar with a nice size refrigerator, sink, drip-style coffee maker, microwave, toaster and outdoor BBQ. The outdoor area is a generous-sized private deck to enjoy the water and mountain views, with table and chairs for dining, zero gravity chairs for reclining, and the outdoor shower. QUAINT ACCOMMODATIONS LIKE A TINY HOME WITH ALL THE COMFORTS AND CONVENIENCES: Your room has AC, TV for streaming your subscriptions; ample supply of towels and toiletries; and, a whole host of incidentals and must-haves guests look for to make for light luggage packing and travel to St John travel worry free ... so other than your clothes, sunglasses, hat and SPF you don’t need to pack much at all! …SEE OUR LIST OF ALL THE THINGS WE PROVIDE FOR YOUR STAY AT THE *EXTRAS NOTE BELOW. ABOUT THE WATER VIEW. Take in some of the most stunning water and mountain views St. John has to offer right from your private deck sitting 500 feet above sea level. The villa faces the refreshing trade winds overlooking Coral Bay, Tortola and Norman Island of the BVIs, and down island at the Sir Francis Drake Channel towards the Baths of Virgin Gorda and Spanish Town. Spend the morning soaking up the sunrise with your coffee as you overlook the valley of Coral Bay at east-facing water and island views. Relax on the deck in the afternoon shade watching the colors of the setting sky sipping wine, watching the hawks soar above, and enjoying the breeze. MINUTES AWAY. We are conveniently located to so many things to do in St John. All the popular beaches such as Maho Bay, Trunk Bay and Cinnamon Bay are within a few minutes’ drive from the villa. Great snorkeling is close by at Maho, Salt Pond and Haulover Bay. Hikes at popular Reef Bay and Ram's Head are within 10 minutes as well as several others as we are within close proximity the Virgin Islands National Park. Coral Bay offers several dining options such as Skinny Legs, Rhumb Lines, Lime Out, and Miss Lucy’s. Two grocery stores are at the bottom of our hill. Note that St. John is not very walkable throughout the entire island. Please rent a vehicle for transportation. STAIRS: As is typical with most villa rentals in St John, stairs are involved in accessing the unit. St John is mountainous, and villas are build in the mountain terrain either as an uphill-build or downhill-build. This villa is a downhill-build, so you descend 3 flights of stairs to DOWN to Level 1 where Horizon Terrace is located. Please do not assume level 1 means ground level where parking is. Parking is at the top of the property. * EXTRAS: Since this is a junior suite, we will have the following supplies for your use at the cottage if you don’t want to pack them or buy them on St John: shampoo, conditioner, body soap (all full-sized), hair dryer, beach towels, beach chairs, beach bag, pool float noodles, coolers (a back-pack style cooler and a hard case cooler), bug spray. Also provided are coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar, a few spices and condiments.
