I only stayed here one night in a very comfortable bed in a roomy six-bed dorm for DKK 120/€15.40 and loved the place. There are lots of showers, a kitchen plus a large common area. Norreport metro station is short distance away to get to the centre, but to be honest Copenhagen isn't enormous and I took a leisurely stroll of about an hour all the way from the hostel to the centre. The area round the hostel is full of bars, restaurants, food shops, etc. The hostel's philosophy of emphasising solidarity and diversity is spot on too.

This is a hostel, make no mistake. But it's location is perfect, right across the bridge from all the action and everything you'll want to go see is less than a 30 minute walk away. Including an awesome market with smorgasbrods! The place has a cute cafe you can use if you need a place to sit before checking in. The rooms are small, but clean and the bathrooms are convenient, clean, and everyone is very respectful. The service is great! Great hostel!

Pros: Affordable and in a neighborhood with cheap bars and food options. Kitchen was useful. Cons: Check-in is at 3PM and not at 2PM, as stated in description. Option to deposit the bags for free after checkout on your last day helps.

C’est une auberge de jeunesse un peu comme dans les années 80 ! Un peu vétuste, un brin négligée, le tout bric à brac et l’esprit jeune avec un bar où l’on fait la fête. Ça ressemble peu aux autres hostels, plus propres et plus modernes. Le personnel est sympa mais un peu perdu, sans bien savoir comment le tout fonctionne. Emplacement absolument génial car dans un quartier branché avec pas mal de bars et restos avec l’inconvénient du bruit extérieur. Donc, lieu idéal pour rencontrer d’autres personnes mais en faisant abstraction des conditions matérielles, de la propreté et du service rendu.

Overall a great experience, especially due to how cheap it is staying there. The cafe & bar beneath the hostel is very cozy and offers a lot for good prices in general. There are a lot of other cafes and restaurants within a close walking distance and also some nice parks.

I stayed for 7 nights, in what I think had to be the best double room. It's at the back of the hostel and at the end of the corridor, so it was very quiet. Bed and pillows comfortable, everything clean. The cafe/bar is comfortable with plenty of sofas, how busy it is obviously varies according to time, day of week, and if there is entertainment happening. The volunteers and management are delightful, helpful and generally work hard to make it pleasant, and all profit goes to Action Aid. During my stay the guest kitchen was clean and my food was not taken by other guests. A small irritation was the door to the dining area, the closing mechanism is broken which results in a loud and unpredictably timed bang whenever it is used. The toilets and showers (2 of each on my floor) were definitely adequate for this time of year, and were also clean and worked well. There is a strict no smoking policy, for which I was grateful! I hadn't stayed in a hostel for many years, and I'm not a good sleeper so would not like a dormitory anyway, so can't comment on that. Thank you all xx

Perfect place to stay at the heart of Copenhagen. Convenient prices on coffee and nice and cozy furniture. Can highly recommend to any traveler on budget.

Auberge proposant des chambres familiales, et dortoirs. Très bien située au coeur de la ville, à quelques centaines de mètres du bus si besoin, avec un rapport qualité prix très bon. Bar au RDC ce qui permet en rentrant de sa journée de s'offrir une boisson sur place tout en triant ses photos ou autre.. De plus c'est un moyen de soutenir encore plus le coté associatif du lieu, très beau projet Deux poins noirs dans l'auberge, le bruit le soir en lien avec les bars en face, ces derniers respectent la législation, WE fermeture 2H quand même !!! mais bon en semaine plus tôt 23h30, ou 24H donc correct mais les clients restent devant à parler, rire et crier...du coup impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres et de ce fait chaleur insupportable dans les chambres ....dommage, une suggestion mettre les chambres famille coté cour??? Par contre fenêtre fermé aucun bruit isolation bravo Deuxième point la saleté de la cuisine la haut, la vaisselle n'est pas faite ou peu, frigo plein et sale, pas assez de vaisselle pour tout le monde même en lavant ce qui a été laissé sale à trainer, gros souci à ce niveau là et semble t il aucun réajustement vraiment pas top, pour avoir fait pas mal d'auberge ça peut être améliorer sincèrement là non il y a un souci En tous cas joli séjour mais pas forcément reposant en terme de sommeil pour ceux qui sont de gros gros dormeurs
