Alpine Country Motel Plus Free Coffee

We arrived late afternoon & the room was freezing. It had an electric heater without a fan, so we couldn’t get the room warm until morning. We ended up sitting in bed with electric blankets on, plus extra blankets provided, to stay warm. The towels were small, thin & hard, long past their use by date. A floor mat wasn’t provided for when you get out of the shower. Half a roll of toilet paper was provided, no extra. The bed was on the hard side. We were just travelling through & it was cheap, but there’s cheap & there’s cheap. Should not have to be cold. Would not recommend

Decent overnight stay on our way to Thredbo. We arrived late into Canberra so spent the night here to break up the drive to Canberra. Arriving late, it was a bit hard to spot with no lights. The heating was on when we arrived so the room was comfortable even on a cold night. This isn't fancy, but it doesn't advertise itself as that. It's pretty much what you'd expect to see in a motel - a dated place to stay a night before going on your way. Clean enough.
