We did the booking on their website after speaking to the man (owner). There was no issue as he was gentle and quick to guide on the booking. After 5 hour of driving and reaching the hotel, I rang the bell and the lady owner (wife of the man) came, I wished her a good evening and mentioned we have a booking for the night. She goes to the computer and started to yell in French how the payment is not done and I need to pay first. I mentioned OK my partner is parking the car and would come in 5 minutes. She continued to yell saying call me when you are ready to do the payment and left. I kept standing at the reception like a beggar not knowing what to do and if I can even sit anywhere. Next day while leaving we mentioned about this to the man that his wife was impolite and as a foreigner speaking little French I was put to tears on being insulted like this. She comes back and starts to scream ans said 'She has a foreigner black woman as a maid and we can ask her how well she is treated here' (?????). Completely shocked with this erratic and racist behaviour plus comments we decided to leave the matter (angrily) and leave. She chase us out of her exit door and was still screaming. PLS AVOID THIS HOTEL ESPECIALLU IF YOU ARE NOT FRENCH AND NOT WHITE. Her comparison with the maid, the inhospitality and greed for money all combined makes this beautiful property a FAILURE. Writing this review so that what happened to me, doesn't happen with anyone else. Thanks

The location itself is quite nice, but the owners are the most unfriendly hosts we've met so far. One should be careful not to ask anything from the lady owner! We were a group of 2 families - 2 adults and 2 children (6 to 10 years old) each -, yet we were given a 5-person room and a 3-person one. Moving on... even though the *********** conditions said "No prepayment needed", she snapped at us for not receiving the payment a day before and called us frauds. We tried to explain, in French, that there was just a technical issue at bank. We paid just as we arrived at the hotel, even before seeing the rooms, with the exact same credit card so there is no way to talk about any fraud. After that, we were yield at just because we asked for a solution to dry our towels (room did not have any balcony). Lady owner did not refrain from yelling at adults as well as children for no particular reason. Quite strange as the kids did not understand any French. The rooms were generally clean and the view of those with a view to the (dried) river is nice. The price was a bit spicy, though! For 260€/night/room I was expecting at least a small fridge in room. There was none! At the end of July... Normally, one can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel (on a cost), but I cannot tell how the food, the restaurant, the terrace or the pool (facility which we paid for) are because we simply were not allowed to use them for the all 3 days we "camped" there. Lady owner clearly explained that not all guests have the same rights and she can decide who can use the facilities and who can not! Considering that this attitude was not pointed towards other guests, I cannot wonder if this discrimination had nothing to do with the fact that we are not French people. The owners have no respect for the paying customers at all! Lady owner's motto is: "It's my hotel and I can do whatever I want! Don't like it, just leave!" (with no reimbursement, of course!). She told it to us many times. We would have left, but, unfortunately, it is pretty hard to just leave when travelling with children and no refund given. Luckily for us, the surroundings offer many things to do, so we managed to stay away from the hotel most of time, returning there just for sleeping.

Wir waren mittags zu zweit in diesem wunderbaren Restaurant essen. Die Terrasse liegt unmittelbar oberhalb des Flusses Real Collobrier. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und der Service sehr freundlich. Am Ende bekamen wir noch einige Tipps bezüglich verschiedener Weingüter vom Chef persönlich.

Que dire après une nuit dans cet hôtel de charme,décoré avec goût une musique de fond apaisante. Des patrons (je penses) souriants gentils et surtout disponible. Petit dejeuner extraordinaire terrasse au calme. La chambre vue sur la rivière décorée avec goût avec tout ce qu'il vous faut ...en plus d'être vraiment au calme Je vous le conseille vraiment si vous voulez passer des vacances tranquilles. Nous reviendrons sûrement

Séjour dans ce petit hôtel restaurant au cœur du village de Collobriere, noyé au milieu de la verdure luxuriante de cette partie du Var, loin du tourisme de masse. L'accueil est chaleureux, le couple de propriétaires est tout simplement exquis, on se sent comme dans une chambre d'hôte. La déco de l'établissement est sublime, très aboutie et ce dans les moindres détails. La chambre est confortable et suffisamment spacieuse. Le calme des lieux et la bonne literie font que la nuit y est parfaite. Le petit déjeuner est lui aussi très agréable, pris sur la charmante terrasse qui donne sur le real, avec le chat des propriétaires qui vient vous dire bonjour et le chant des oiseaux, ça fait du bien 😁👍. Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la petite piscine, mais cet espace est lui aussi très cosy ainsi que les deux petits salons. La carte du restaurant est bien équilibrée et les plats sont simples et savoureux. Bref, ce fût une sublime parenthèse spacio temporelle avec un rapport qualité prix de très bonne facture. Merci encore pour ce délicieux moment. Après un petit tour du village, on repart avec sa boîte de marrons glacés et ses pots de crème de marrons, des incontournables !

A l'arrière de l'établissement, une belle terrasse accueille les dîneurs quand la météo le permet. Très agréable de surplomber ainsi un ruisseau qui chantonne en contrebas en glissant sur les galets ! De quoi plaire aux romantiques qui peuvent en outre faire un excellent repas en piochant dans une carte (pas de menu) sympathique aux accents du terroir. En entrée, pendant que mon conjoint dégustait un tartare de saumon (pas vraiment du terroir, lui !), je me régalais d'une excellente soupe de poisson. Après, place à un bar et à une daurade à la provençale, avec, entre autres, une très bonne ratatouille, Un crible à la fraise et une tarte Tatin terminaient le dîner en beauté. Courte carte des vins à prix très corrects consacrée au seul Domaine des Bormettes de La Londe. Je ne peux rien dire sur l'hôtel dont je n'ai pas utilisé les services, mais l'accueil des patrons a été charmant. Et le resto mérite la visite.
