We where a party of 7 Bikers doing a tour of Germany, Firstly the hotel staff could not be more helpfull they where all very curtoius and polite, the food was second to none, As we where a party of 7 they gave us our own large table and private room in the resturant, that night we all agreed it was one of the best meals we have had, we are all well traveled and have dined in some of the world top place, but this evening meal was top class, we where all given a picnic bag to take with us when we left the following moring. All in all a briliant hotel.

I stayed at the Hotel Keßler-Meyer for two nights in September 2023 with a friend. We had a very good time overall. We had room 4 in the main building, close to the reception, which was clean, spacious, stylishly decorated, and well-equipped with A/C, TV, safe, fridge, coffee maker, free Wi-Fi, hair dryer, bath robes, slippers, a sauna bag containing towels and a blanket, and even a hiking backpack with a refillable water bottle. The bathroom was clean and spacious as well. A nice selection of brand toiletries were provided. We had booked a package which included half board, a massage, a bottle of wine and one of water, a cocktail, plus free use of the spa area until 6 p.m. on the day of departure. The pool is quite small but was never very crowded. I often had it to myself. The spa area is nice, though rather small as well. It contains two saunas and a steam bath. Tea, water, and apples are provided free of charge. Breakfast was buffet style and was very good. There was a vast selection of items and most of them were of good quality, though we didn’t care for the falafel and humus. Didn’t try the fried eggs as they looked quite dry. Dinner on both days consisted of soup (two kinds to choose from), salad from a salad bar, main course (meat, fish, or vegetarian), and dessert (two options to choose from). We enjoyed the food, overall. My only criticism is firstly the fact that the same kind of soup was offered on the two consecutive days, so although it was good it was probably not freshly prepared on the second day, and secondly the horrible dessert on the second day, which consisted mainly of a marinated pear that was terribly dry. My friend couldn’t eat it at all, in fact. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We did have our doubts about the massage as it was included in our package, but it turned out to be very good. When we checked out we were given a snack pack for the trip home consisting of two bottles of water, apples, and home-made cookies, which was a very nice touch. It takes about twenty minutes to walk to Cochem old town from the hotel, but it is a pleasant walk along the river. The walk to the castle looks steep, but it turned out to be easier than I had expected and took me less than half an hour. So I would say the hotel’s location isn’t bad. We had a view of the castle from our room. To sum it up, I warmly recommend this hotel and might return.

Zum zweiten Mal hier und gerne wieder! Die neuen Zimmer sind toll! Wellnessbereich und -anwendungen super! Eigentümer sehr freundlich. Weinprobe und Weinwanderung vor Ort perfekt! Restaurant hochpreisig, aber sehr sehr gut! Frühstück einfach super!

Wir waren im August 2024 eine Woche Gast im Hotel Kessler-Meyer in Cochem. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig mit einem schönen Ausblick gelegen. Ein großes Zimmer mit Balkon durften wir nutzen. Das Zimmer war top modern und in einem super Zustand. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen, in mehreren Gängen, war immer sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Es war nur sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal im Hotel und es wurde einem das Gefühl vermittelt, dass der Service groß geschrieben wird und keine Wünsche offen bleiben. Toller Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank dafür.

Hôtel bien situé au calme . Tout est bien mais évitez absolument de prendre une chambre dans l’annexe : pas de climatisation, la Tv n’est visible que si on installe des fauteuils en face …! Robinet de la salle de bain mal fixés au lavabo , une chaleur dans la sdeb à se sentir mal . Dommage !

Ein an sich schönes Hotel , saubere Zimmer ,sehr freundlicher Empfang Bekamen zum Abendessen ein Gericht ,das wir nicht bestellt hatten. Auf Nachfrage teilte man uns mit , dass das von uns bestellte Essen leider aus sei und dieses im Übrigen auch teurer (????) Wäre wünschenswert gewesen ,wenn man uns dies vorab mitgeteilt und eine Alternative angeboten hätte .Daraufhin entschuldigte sich der Mitarbeiter und lud uns zur "Wiedergutmachung" auf ein Getränk in die Bar ein Wurden dort dann unnötigerweise gefragt ob wir von dem Angebot Gebrauch machen möchten .Wir bestellten beide ein Glas Rotwein (0,1l) , dabei teilte man uns mit ,dass ein Glas aufs Haus ginge , das andere aufs Zimmer. Waren beide sprachlos !!!!!!! Hatten ja BEIDE das falsche Essen bekommen. Als wir die Rechnung unterschreiben wollten , hieß es dann gönnerhaft es sei alles erledigt. Als wir am nächsten Morgen beim Auschecken gefragt wurden ,wie uns der Aufenthalt gefallen hat , haben wir den Vorfall kurz angesprochen ,kam jedoch keine Reaktion. Sehr schade !!!! hatten uns den Kurztrip an die Mosel doch etwas anders vorgestellt
