Oasis Motel

Great from start to finish. Booked per phone, easily completed. Check in was smooth and friendly. Room warm and quiet, bed comfortable, shower next morning exceptional, hot water and a great shower head. Check out easy just drop the key off.

We loved the light bright new renovation of the Oasis. It was really a lovely room to relax in with an attractive wing armchair, working space, lots of storage space and great king size bed. A big plus in the bathroom - in freezing weather - was an overhead heater as well as loads of hot water and big fluffy towels What we did find it strange and worth mentioning, was that although there was a microwave and plates etc, provided ,there was no detergent or clothes to wash up. When we asked for this at reception we were told the policy was to do it as part of the housekeeping and if we didn’t want housekeeping (which we didn’t) to leave the dirty plates outside and they would be dishwashed and eplaced. As we often choose not to eat out but bring or buy supplies to have breakfast and our evening meal in our room not to mention teas and cofees, not having washing up stuff to be able to wash-up and reuse, didn’t really work for us.

Excellent Motel. The room was a decent size, very clean and comfy bed. Bathroom was nice. Nice touches in the room with toiletries. Owner was very nice and directed us to the Bowl/Golf club for dinner, short walk and good meal choices. If you have Optus don't expect to get reliable connections.

This is one of the best motels we have ever stayed in We had our stay and then another stay (long story) and Terese and staff could not have been more obliging Rooms and facilities are amazing. So clean and modern A little “Oasis” in the middle of Cobar
