the place is right on the main road , 5 minutes from the path to the beach. the cabana was big but not lighted enough and the curtains were red so in the morning the sun light waked us . there is not service to the rooms so it is hard to manage with the luggage. A nice thing over there are the iguanas that are all over the peremises and the pool in the center.

A side trip to Santa Teresa was a last-minute decision and after quickly scanning the options I chose the Esencia Hotel and Villas. I am happy I did. This property is located closer to the end of the *****. The rooms are clean comfortable. The grounds are expertly landscaped and beautiful. A wonderfully refreshing pool area is available. I stayed two nights, but as the original plan was only one night, I stayed in a room at the top of the hill, while the second night I stayed in a villa. Both were charming. Unfortunately it seems this platform will allow you to upload pictures but not videos. The only drawback to staying in a room at the top of the hill is that I was not able to drive as close to the room as I might like. So if you have a fair amount of luggage, be aware that you will have to carry it 50 yards or so. With the villa I was able to park right in front. The front desk staff was very helpful. There was easy access to the beach. And numerous dining options, a short walk away. The villa that I stayed in had a separator between the king size bed, and the twin beds, thus offering privacy. The hotel is located in what is probably the best part of town, with relatively easy access to a good surf point (it's still a walk and a half to get to the water, but that's always the case unless you are right on the beach). Rooms are large, but their age shows. Showers offer either good water flow or hot water, but not both. I had to basically hike to my room that was located at the top of the hill. The hotel lacks the charm and cool factor of Somos, that's right next door. It is across the street from the only "disco" in town, but the place seemed to be a bit of a dive. The hotel doesn't offer late checkout at all, which I found problematic.

This is a great place to stay in Santa Teresa. I just had a great time in one of the pool view rooms. You are up on a hill so the noise of the street can't be heard from the room and perfice for a post surf nap. The staff is friendly and very accommodating! Security and cleaning is top-notch. It was great to wake up and walk across the street to world-class surfing!

Un hotel para relajarse del bullicio de la calle principal, la piscina sensacional, limpieza y aroma de las habitaciones, todo el personal muy atento y amable,cuentan con parqueo y es una ventaja que cuenta a diferencia de los demás hoteles de la zona.

Hôtel bruyant proche d un bar avec musique tard la nuit, incompatible avec enfants … Pas de moustiquaire aux fenêtres permettant d aerer. Ventilateur défectueux, Climatisation non écologique située au dessus de la tête de lit donc non utilisable la nuit. Sommier grinçant et matelas peu confortable.. bref .. à éviter Points positifs tout de même la piscine agréable et la proximité de la plage mais à Santa Thérèsa les hôtels sont tous proches de l océan ..,,
