An all seasons getaway nestled in the heart of Leelanau County. It is the perfect location between Glen Arbor, Leland, and Suttons Bay. Bohemian Beach on Good Harbor Bay is a short car or bike ride away. Adventure seekers will have plenty to do with numerous nationally acclaimed hiking and mountain biking trails nearby, golfing, and a pick of smaller lakes to fish and enjoy. Sunset beach walks and daytime dune climbing are close as well. After a long day relax on the patio or enjoy a campfire! The space Renamed "Heroes Lodge" this home was originally built for the Maple City American Legion. This space holds fond memories of comradery and celebrations to our Local Heroes. The main floor is open and airy with a mid century Americana nod. Original warm oak floors and unique furnishings give a relaxed atmosphere. The kitchen and dining area are open to the living area with the master suite on the main floor as well. Two bedrooms, a full bath, and entertaining/game space on the lower walk out level. The well equipped kitchen is bright and a cheery with some of the original fixtures that give it the an "upnorth" vintage vibe. Guest access The home is on 3 acres of wooded land. There is plenty of parking for cars and boats. The laundry is located on the lower level for guest to use.
