Le Manoir de Placy - Chambres d'Hôtes

Last weekend we stayed at Le Manoir. The customer friendliness was already noticeable during the booking, which was confirmed upon arrival. We arrived later than planned, but this was not seen as a problem. We were helped in finding a place to dine, which is no easy task on a Saturday evening at 7:30 PM outside the tourist season. The same applied to the following day. The stay in this tastefully renovated Manoir, owned by Arnoud and Nathalie, was thoroughly pleasant. Spacious, clean rooms. Excellent bathroom with a good shower. Comfortable beds. The breakfast offered a wide selection of bread and toppings, including a daily homemade delicacy. The conversations at breakfast, in a mix of French, Spanish, and English, were very enjoyable. All in all, highly recommended at a reasonable price. We will definitely return when we are back in Suisse Normande.

6 of us cycled from Ouistreham to Clecy to stay at the Le Manoir de Placy for 3 nights. The welcome from Arnaud, Nathalie (and Cookey) was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and we were given some great recommendations of restaurants in the area and we tried them all and were not disappointed. The breakfasts and packed lunches were better than many hotels and our whole stay was memorable and very enjoyable in a lovely part of France.

Prachtig gelegen B&B vlakbij de rivier en de restaurantjes. De ontvangst door Nathalie en Arnaud is zeer hartelijk. De kamers zijn groot, netjes. We hebben hier prima geslapen. Rustige parking voor de wagen. De gastvrouw en gastheer staan altijd klaar om te helpen of om een babbeltje te slaan. En Cookie, de vastbond kwispelt altijd van enthousiasme. Top adres.

Très agréable séjour, chambre décorée avec goût, cadre très beau, musée du monde miniature à voir juste à côté. Vue sur la montagne. Petit déjeuner copieux, mention spéciale pour le gâteau fait maison. Hôtes sympathiques et prévenants. Beaucoup de sites à visiter autour.

Een warm welkom om te beginnen. We hebben er heel goed geslapen op fantastische bedden. De uitbaters proberen u te helpen op alle mogelijke manieren of dit nu betrekking heeft op uit eten of een uitstap plannen. Het verblijf is zeer rustig gelegen en heeft een prachtige uitstraling

Heel fijn pension in een leuk dorp! Zeer gastvrij en netjes. De omgeving is prachtig, interessante bezienswaardigheden zijn goed te bereiken. Aan de rivier zijn leuke restaurantjes en terrasjes, je kunt er kayakken en ook voor wandelaars is het er schitterend.
