Travelodge Clacton on Sea Central

Location was great for all amenities Staff were friendly and helpful Rooms are so stuffy it was hot and unpleasant to sleep windows only open 2 inches and the fans did very little to cool the room! Probably won’t use travelodhe again because it was so uncomfortable in the heat

The room was not clean and neither was towels pr bathroom we didn't get enough cups and coffee in the room

Staff were welcoming friendly and helpful. Rang up the day before and nothing was any bother. It is very centrally. Placed and the rooms were clean, neat and tidy

Me and my partner stayed here for one night (10/05/24 - 11/05/24) and we've had a really pleasant experience. The bed is really comfortable and the room is a perfect size for those who are not in their room all day. We did have a problem with our room but reception have apologised and are going to rectify the issue with the room. The hotel is right next to the town and is around a 5 minute walk to the pier/beach. There is plenty of amenities nearby and the train station is around 8-10 minute walk away in the opposite direction from town.

There are families living here in this hotel felt unsafe doors were kept open they were letting people in not sure if they were staying there dogs in corridors children running up and down making loads of noise really dirty aswell homeless people outside lying down really not a nice experience

Stayed last night . Check in was very good polite and friendly. The room was really clean and tidy . A good touch was leaving the window open. It felt so fresh . Thank you to the staff on duty . The house keeper Terri went above and beyond help us settle in .

The bedroom was spotlessly clean, lovely soft pillows and I had a great nights sleep. Staff were helpful and friendly. The location was perfect as everything is with a 5 minute walking distance. The nearest carpark is literally opposite with24hr parking at £9.80. Perfect. I will defo stay again

Stayed one night with my partner and we were quite surprised with the quality of service and the room was very decent, clean and comfortable. Good location for people wanting to visit and stay over in Clacton-on-Sea, their prices are fairly reasonable also so you can't complain all round. Local shops, bars, restaurants within less than 2 walking minutes. The receptionist was so lovely I forgot her name but she reminded me of my Mother, super sweet and helpful.

Excellent night, Staff are so friendly, kind and helpful, especially Dani and Donna who cheered us up with their lovely mannerisms, the room was cosy and warm, shower was lovely and hot great water flow, I was do comfortable I didn't want to leave.........I Highly recommend this hotel, I will definitely be back
