Akra Fethiye the Residence Tui Blue Sensatori - Ultra All Inclusive - Adults Only

We visited here in late September for my birthday and overall it was a lovely stay. Pros: - The service in this hotel is probably one of the main reasons people keep coming back, all the staff were attentive, friendly and extremely helpful. We never felt that anything was too much trouble or that you were inconveniencing them. - The room was amazing, we booked a penthouse suite which was large, beautifully furnished and well presented. I truly feel that although the extra space was nice I would have been just as happy with a standard room. The added extra of a walk in wardrobe come dressing room was a lovely touch. The only slightly strange issue was that the bath was directly in front of the main entrance which did seem a bit odd but that may have just been me. The cleaners and people stocking the mini bar were excellent, and it's probably the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. - Drinks were plentiful and free flowing if you wanted them, the cocktails were excellent and the wine drinkable although I'm a bit of a white wine and prosecco snob and did think these were slightly lacking. - Pool area was amazing, I spent the sunny days floating round the pool with drink and kindle in hand, even getting poolside service from the staff for drinks which was a lovely touch. The water although extremely cold was very refreshing although I did hear a lot of complaints around the pool that it was far too cold to spend any amount of time in. It never felt cramped and although we often didn't come down to the pool until after 10am didn't have a problem finding empty sun loungers. It did seem that there were bed hoggers who would put there towel down and then disappear for hours which was a bit frustrating. The swim up bar was great and the staff always happy to accommodate any request, mine being wine in a tumbler so it could fit in my floaty drinks holder! - Cabana day was excellent, the service was amazing with nothing being too much trouble, food and drink were ordered through a QR code and brought to the cabana which I thought was a great touch. We had booked a cabana again after this but unfortunately the weather had other ideas. Cons: - We had 3 days of torrential rain and if like my husband find it hard to entertain yourself you will be bored, there was very little to do in the hotel which didn't involve eating and drinking. I know this is very much a first world problem but did make the days very long. - The food although varied due to the theme nights did get very samey after a couple of days. I found the food either quite bland or very overwhelmed with different herbs which masked the true flavour of the food. I am in no way a picky and always found something to eat but did get bored by the end of the trip. We visited the buffet next door and found the food to be really good for a buffet restaurant, although the service was nowhere near as good. - Communication methods in my opinion could be improved as having to phone guest relations for ever

This hotel is the best hotel we have ever stayed in on our travels. It's truly exceptional levels of service, facilities, food choice and quality, amazing drinks and for us a chilled out feel. When you arrive the check in process is swift, friendly with a glass of champagne, what we think is amazing the reception colleague then takes you to your room and whilst on the way tells you lots of information about the hotel. The rooms are spotless clean, the beds are so comfortable, a jacuzzi bath and a wonderful shower. The rooms are stocked with spirits and loads of mixers, simple thing but bottled water is in glass bottles truly high end. A drawer of sweet and savoury snacks. Large balcony with table and chairs and a double sunbed. The main food reptory restaurant as a theme night every night alongside the all day dining menu, the food is cooked to order no buffet in sight! The main bar is a great space for a glass of wine or one of There amazing cocktails, and in the main bar they have a cake counter, ice cream counter and chocolates counter honestly pure perfection. The cocktail bar upstairs at the Balkon restaurant is a true hidden gem, the Mixologist is truly remarkable and the theatre of how cocktails are presented was truly amazing. We never used the pool area but plenty of sunbeds available which come will cool boxes for bottles or cans of drink. We always used the beach again with plenty of sunbeds. We loved that there was waiter service and if you hadn't seen anyone for a while(very rare) there is a QR code you can scan and you can order all sorts of drinks that are delivered to your sun bed within minutes. This by the way should be adopted by all TUI Blue hotels. This was only our second time at the hotel we are already planning our next stay. The General Manager and her team are literally the best amazing job that every single one of them does delivers an amazing holiday. We will look forward to returning to this gem of a hotel in the future. Thank you

Where do I start?! Our daughter and son-in-law highly recommended we booked The all-inclusive++++ Residence for our 20th wedding anniversary holiday, and I am soooo glad we took their advice. We booked a Penthouse room for 9 nights, flying with EasyJet from Edinburgh, and we splashed out and booked a private return transfer with DM Transfers from Dalaman airport. The transfer was perfect, and more like a limousine with chilled water, tv and wi-fi to enjoy. On arrival at The Residence, we were greeted and ushered to a personal check-in with chilled facial towels, champagne and chocolates, while our luggage was discreetly whisked away to our room for us. We were walked to our room, with the young lady explaining the bars and restaurants to us. Our room was absolutely perfect (we were in 4534) overlooking the immaculately maintained pools with views out to the sea. The penthouses have a private jacuzzi on the balcony along with a double rattan sunbed, table and 2 chairs with a huge rollable parasol which is invaluable in the heat of the day! Our room had a huge bed, balloons and pillow scent and a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting for us along with a beautiful strawberry heart-shaped cake, as the hotel knew we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary while we were there. Apart from that amazing start, the room had its own lounge area with a jacuzzi bath, double sink vanity units, separate shower and toilet, separate dressing room and every single luxury you can imagine - Kraft paper-packaged bath hats, sewing kits, razor and shaving kits, loofah, toothbrushes, amazing scented hand wash and shower gels and body lotions, dressing gowns and slippers, yoga mats and beach bags, hair driers and hair straighteners, USB points and a UK plug point, iron & ironing board, and so much more. In the room you also had a bar area with 1/2 bottles of whisky, gin, vodka, waters and a bottle of wine, and a fully stocked fridge with water, beer, orange juice, ginger ale and milk, along with a kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and pods. All this is refreshed daily, so as you finish a bottle of anything, they will just replace it the next day free of charge. Every day the maid will come in and change the towels and re-make and change the bed, refreshing any toiletries you have used. Then you'll have a visit from the bar man re-stocking your drinks, and then later in the evening while you are out enjoying cocktails and evening meal, housekeeping will return and re-make the bed and do a turn-down service, put the ambient lights on and air conditioning if the room is too warm and close the curtains and re-stock the towels. The amazing staff in the hotel make you feel you are staying in a hotel where you are truly welcome, and you are! From the reception staff to the maids to the pool staff to the restaurant and cocktail staff - without exception they are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I am writing this review having had a fantastic week with my husband at this hotel. The weather is beautiful - a lovely 30 degrees during the day and warm enough in the evening for summer dresses, short sleeves and shorts. The hotel is clearly efficiently run and the staff are professional, friendly and you feel very well looked after. We would like to say thank you to everyone. We would like to mention the following members of staff and thank them for the following: Emre for showing us around when we first arrived and organising delivery of our cases to our room seamlessly Kezban for keeping our room immaculate Murot for looking after us at breakfast and dinner in a professional and friendly way Omer at the Cuphea bar for his friendliness, we could see he works hard but has a calm, relaxing vibe! I had a fantastic spa treatment during my stay so I would like to say a big thank you also to Ari, Tugba and Sara, the lovely ladies who made me feel totally relaxed and cared for. We have met lots of couples who have returned to this hotel several times and we are seriously considering doing the same!

We arrived for our fifth visit after a very early flight to be met by the general manager Aslihan and Michelle the Tui rep like we were family what a welcome ! Each year just gets better and better this year the new cocktails are off the scale amazing ! The food is delicious in every restaurant beautifully prepared and presented . The whole resort is immaculate and the rooms spotlessly clean spacious and more than comfortable. The staff here are truly amazing all such kind genuinely lovely people who go out of their way to ensure you have a memorable stay . Special mentions go to Zeki , Veysel, Emrah , Isik, Onur and dynamic himself Namik who with his excellent English and welcoming greeting of hello you two always was met with a huge smile this man is going places ! We are already booked to return twice next year and are counting down the days !

The Residence is a wonderful hotel because of the luxurious rooms, terrific facilities & amazing staff. From the incredible reception and Management, waiters,bar, cleaners and ground staff it is simply the best for friendly, helpful people to make your holiday the best possible. The pilates and Yoga instructors were also brilliant. Selman is fantastic the best pool waiter in the universe he always brought a drink with a smile & cheered us up every day. Alina from Cuphea is the most beautiful, kind & thoughtful waitress she is a real diamond. Namik is exceptional & deserves promotion to Butler.He has worked hard with his professionalism & his English. I was really impressed at how far he has came since first met him last year. The Residence would not be the same without them.❤️ Special mentions to some of the outstanding staff I remember Vasel, Hassan, Emra, Fatima, Tuna, Onur, Ofug & Mustafa. Also Michelle from TUI is so lovely, friendly and always extremely helpful. I wish I could remember the names of all the staff but it's been a few months and I should have written review earlier. I have never returned to a hotel more than twice so the fact we are returning again in May says it all. This is the best hotel for adults, its the things like the comfortable cabanas, mini bar treats, first class cocktails and tasty food with luxurious surroundings & as mentioned the best staff... it can't be beat. We would have liked a 70/80/90s disco at night maybe the Management might consider doing one each week i am sure this would be a big hit with most people. Thank you for another super holiday❣️
