this hotel is a fantastic gem. while unassuming from the front, within hides a gorgeous haveli ballroom-turned-hotel. since the renovation, refreshed, century-old features dominate. my favourte of those were the original wooden doors, complete with metal spikes and latches. our bedroom was spacious, intricately decorated, clean and comfortable. we slept well in the king sized four-poster bed. the spacious front yard shields the guests from churu's incessant traffic noises. i enjoyed spotting a variety of birds on the hotel grounds. the hotel's most priced feature is its excellent staff from the front gates to the back kitchen. special mention to our attentive and friendly server, rakesh, as well as to our well-connected expert guide, lal. thanks to them and their team, we felt welcomed and well taken care of during our whole 5-night stay. we could not be happier with the stay. we give the place our highest recommendations to any adventurous travellers looking to connect with history while exploring the area. we also recommend you do ask the knowledgable lal for the sunset/sunrise safari! seeing the dunes, the flowers, the birds, and other fauna in the desert surrounding churu is an unmissable experience. another recommendation we have is for the king thali dish for dinner, but make sure to bring your appetite! ps. for expectation management, it is worth noting that their wifi was not highly reliable during our stay. this did not affect us at all as the area has great 5g cell service.

Wow! We have had 2 amazing nights in this beautiful hotel. Every member of staff has been extremely helpful and professional. Events have been organised down to the smallest detail of flowers for the table in the desert! Delicious food and outstanding service. Rakesh Rathore has made our stay extra special. I highly recommend staying here and taking the heritage tour of Churu with the expert guide Lal Singh Shekhawat

What an astonishing hotel! The bedroom suite we stayed in was exquisite; stunning frescos dating from 1920s and beautifully appointed. The bed was extraordinarily comfy, the service was amazing, and the food seriously seriously good. We went on a walking tour of local havelis and it is highly recommended; our guide was very knowledgeable and generous with his time. We fully expect our stay in Churu to be a highlight of our four week trip to India. If I could give 11/10 I would. It is well worth going off the standard tourist trail to visit this hotel and city.

Everything was perfect, and the place is very clean and beautiful. Room suite are very big and awesome decoration. Very nice experience Rajesh sharma and rakesh were very nice and take care of us. What a super super hotel and find. Tucked away in the charming town of Churu, you are in for a treat. Wonderfully appointed rooms that are extremely comfortable. We are every meal at the hotel- we were so well looked after and the curry so simply superb. We also did the sundowner drinks, safari jeep tour and the desert meal. All of these were unforgettable and the experience will stay with us and our three children (aged 13, 10 and 7) for a while yet. However, e had come to see the magnificent Havelis and we had a FANTASTIC walking tour with Lal- this is something not to be missed. He showed us the back streets and culture that we otherwise would not have experienced. A massive thank you to the whole team- you are brilliant and we can’t wait to come back!

Fabulous experience. The hotel guide and restaurant server were the best. If you want an out of the ordinary experience visit Churu and the market. The city tour and markets are so interesting and fun. Don't miss an opportunity to stay in an old restored Haveli in the old town.
