Travelodge Preston Chorley

Brilliant Lodge. Warm welcome. Nothing too much trouble . Room spotlessly clean. Fabulous surroundings, excellent pub nearby serving good food. Great staff, Jenny, gentleman on the desk overnite, and the receptionist sorry do not know her name. Should never ever be listed as a 1 star Trave Lodge . That is an insult to the staff.

So a bit of a mixed one?! Reception staff are lovely, very helpful! Car parking easy and plenty of it. Very easy to find and just a little way from the motorway. However, the hotel is very dated and well used. The toilet was loose as was the loo roll holder. Towels stained and furniture worn. The room didn’t have a clean feel to it and the corridor carpets are simply unclean. Use with caution.

Brilliant stay thanks to the awesome Joanne, Jackie & Andy!!! We checked in to a hostile pair of guests causing grief to some of the staff, quickly and very impressively the manager Joanne calmed things down & the lady and gentleman apologised and all was fine. Well handled Joanne! During our stay Jackie was absolutely brilliant, sorted us out with extra tea and coffee and serviced our room and left it spotless, she is a grafter and 100% trustworthy around our belongings while we left the room for our days out. Thanks Jackie so much! Also thanks to the other girls (didn't get their names) One of the nights we came back to the hotel later than expected and we had forgotten our key, the front door was locked but straight away Andy let us in as soon as we pressed the buzzer, he was a grafter aswell as he was putting away a delivery of linen, looked hard work but he just got on with it! Also at 4am I went down to the car and there he was again hoovering main reception and mopping the floor! We will be back for a visit in the near future. Well done to Joanne, Jackie & Andy made our stay a dream :)

I’ve been staying here a while now and the staff are brilliant! So so helpful and kind. Nothings too much trouble! The rooms are very clean and spacious. Very quiet peaceful area with supermarkets and everything you need close by. Would definitely recommend this Travelodge.

Lovely clean, spacious rooms, plenty of towels and pillows. Have to say the staff were some of the friendliest and most helpful hotel staff I’ve ever come across. Thank you very much to them all for everything. Happy smiling faces to welcome you whenever you walk in is always a winner in my book.

Don’t stay here. The bed was so painful I couldn’t sleep. There was poo in the toilet from the previous occupant. The ceiling was so this I could hear everything. The sheets had the perfume from previous guest. I got ill from staying here. The room smelled polluted.
