River Fun Beach Resort

We recently visited River Fun Beach Resort with 14 friends on a refreshment tour organized by Third Rock Adventures. The resort is beautifully located on the banks of the Trishuli River and feels like a mini tropical jungle inside. We had a great time enjoying delicious food, swimming in the pool, and just relaxing with friends. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It’s the perfect spot for a fun overnight trip from Kathmandu. Highly recommended!

We have very good time at River Fun Beach Resort with nice green surrounding next to river.The staff are very hospitable accommodating our every request that we made. The food is local organic grown in resort. Good to explore around The rafting was very thrilling as guide very well known about it explains every thing with out miss making it more adventurous. One night is not enough so will visit again in future.

Food tasteless, lots of mosquitoes and lizard in room bed linen with stains and with full of hair not changed linen as per package they gave us nothing in total waste of money and time value of money zero😡 swimming pool had insects and not clean

River Fun Resort is a nice place if you are looking for some adventure or quiet time. Usually crowded on weekends and occasions for partying, the resort offers relaxed time on weekdays. From highway/parking, it's a 15-minute walk after crossing a shaky bridge OR a few minutes on zipline. The resort has a nice swimming pool, lovely river beach, lush green garden and rooms or tents. Rooms have white sheets and are clean. Food is good. They also offer river rafting. Avoid it on weekends and holidays if you are not partying type. Weekdays are quiet. Package (usually snacks, dinner, breakfast and lunch) is reasonable.

I spent one night at the River Fun Resort to break up the long bus journey from Pokhara to Kathmandu. I would recommend rafting to anyone who is looking for an exciting activity for all ages. The scenery was also stunning and along the river, we saw many monkeys on the banks. After rafting for around an hour, we stopped at the River Run Resort for lunch which didn't disappoint. The food was very good. Then, we rafted a further hour down the river before being picked up and driven back to river fun for the night. My guide kindly took me to see the local village, which was wonderful to see. The staff at River Fun Resort were so kind, helpful and they could not do enough to help. After dinner, my evening consisted of sitting by a log fire that the staff had made and eating momos. My night's sleep was very comfortable and warm. The room was very quiet and safe. I hope to return in the future.
