Lovely hotel and lovely staff, very friendly. Things to improve: menu is desperately in need of more vegetarian/vegan options. The window in my bedroom was very old and even though it was closed, I could hear everything outside perfectly. It was like it was wide open. Not good news if you're a light sleeper!

The Crown was convenient to where I was going. Comfortable and quiet with a lovely breakfast.

We stayed overnight as a couple as we were going to an event at the Chislehurst golf club, which was within walking distance. The hotel had been been recently refurbished and was beautiful. Beer garden was good, had tasty bar snacks in the garden. Breakfast choices good, we ordered 2 vegan full English but they came with butter and fried egg, not v substitutes as stated on the menu. We sent them back and the replacement didn’t arrive until everyone else had finished their food. The chef apologised; I think the menu should be changed to show the current offering and the chef could do with a little education on vegan food.

Fantastic service as soon as we walked the door. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Room amazing and also the food and drinks in the bar downstairs. Wished we could have stayed another night or two. Definitely hoping to return next year.

Beautiful renovated pub, room was gorgeous, spacious and clean. Excellent attention to detail. Parking difficult and there was a wedding on so maybe that’s why. Because of the wedding no food was available so we avoided the pub all night and went out. Downsides: our room came with breakfast. By far the worst breakfast we have ever had anywhere. The young lady waiting on us was kind and apologetic but frankly I would never consider eating there and would probably choose a different venue completely because of it. Massive shame. 5* for decor and the room. 2* for the pub itself

Really nicely decorated and a lovely pub in a nice setting. The duvet was far too thick for a summer night. Unfortunately the English breakfast was served lukewarm at best, not one item, the whole breakfast! Shame as it spoilt a generally good stay.

The Crown is very nicely decorated and quaint, however we had a very small, extremely hot room. No fan/AC and tiny windows. No hot water for an evening shower, no decaf coffee or brown bread at breakfast. For £150 a night it was a tad disappointing.

Nice hotel with great outdoor area for drinks and food. Staff are great and very accommodating. Room that I stayed in was great if not a little warm.
