Premier Inn Chippenham

Second time staying here. Reception team very friendly and helpful. Room clean and tidy, beds comfy, nice to have a second chair when two people using the room. Nothing really to complain about. Beefeater next door offered a good breakfast and evening meal.

I booked a so-called “Premier Plus Double”, priced at 50% more than a standard room. What a disappoin**ent! The room and bed were tiny, barely enough room for two adults. There were not enough towels, only one English Breakfast tea bag and, mysteriously, three pillows for two people. Having clearly booked for two adults, I flagged all of this with reception but on our return that evening, nothing had changed and we had to go all the way back to reception and start again. For convenience, we had also booked to eat in the Beefeater restaurant but this was so unwelcoming that we left and went elsewhere.

The staff were all very friendly and responsive. The bed was very comfy and the location very convenient for local amenities such as Morrisons supermarket. We only stopped one night while en route to visit friends in Somerset. We would certainly recommend this Premier inn.

A little tired looking, but still did the job, as most Premier Inns do very well. This was a proper twin room, which I was surprised that they offered, and the bed was really comfortable. Good strong hot water, with a good shower, though the bath was awfully shallow. Would stay here again - a nice alternative to the more basic Travelodge down the road at the M4.

We stayed here the night before Bath Half as it was close and without the price tag of the hotels closer to Bath. The reception team at check in and check out were very welcoming and helpful; we had forgotten to request a cot and this was delivered to our room quickly and set up for us. There was also a note and chocolates in the room - a lovely touch which made us feel valued as customers.

We booked for 2 nights. The room was comfortable and the service was very good. The nearby restaurant serves decent food for evening meals and breakfast. Jordan was helpful and efficient with our checking in/out of the hotel. Thanks for your help.

Stayed here whilst visiting family as it was very conveniently located. My husband was not well, and we asked for a ground floor room - which was no problem at all. The room was warm, clean, had tea and coffee and a huge comfy bed. No restaurant at the hotel, but a Brewer's Fayre next door. We opted for a Pizza takeaway in our room one evening
