Bathroom floor was sticky, edges hadn't been cleaned in months, mould on bath handles and dirt dried on in bath. Coins under bed so not cleaned either, build up of dust behind door and on furniture. Asked for bathroom to be cleaned which it was but only the middle of the floor as usual. At checkout I suggested to receptionist that room 52 needs a deep clean, received a half hearted apology but she made no more so I doubt it was done. Won't stay again.

Helpful staff. Standard double room had all we needed, including inset ceiling lights which were bright enough to read by. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking. We booked breakfast at the nearby Beefeater, which was next door to the hotel. The buffet breakfast, both continental option and cooked, was very good with plenty of choice. The pastries were warm, crisp and delicious. There was fresh fruit salad and yoghurts available as well as cereal and the usual fried breakfast items. Very good value.

Rooms spacious and standard Prem Inn. Free car park... for now!! Traffic noise and a buzz of electricity from pylons. Particularly good Brewers Fayre restaurant that differ massively from one another. Handy Morissons opposite with fuel.

We booked a premium plus room and was not disappointed it was a nice large room with a king size bed which was very comfortable. The room was very clean the only negative was a very noisy extractor fan in the ensuite bathroom other than that it was perfect stay.
