The check in process required for this hotel needs to be specified in the advertisement for it in order to allow the guests the correct information to help them decide whether this is even worth it. It took us an hour and a conversation with a very rude host who didn’t understand the situation to Allow us access to our rooms. The whole ID check was ridiculous even for a chain like this (and I have been to similar ones in England and San Francisco with no real host at the entrance). The hotel required me to provide information for me and my son only because I reserved 2 rooms. Then, rather than explaining that each name on the reservation needed his own ID inputted, it kept sending texts that looked similar with only one number difference. I was confused about why I kept getting texts meant for my son and it wasn’t until that rude host called me several minions into this affair that things were at least clarified. Had he not called me I would have not even had access. And I paid for 2 rooms!

If you are someone who needs catered to 24/7 move on this is not the place for you, however if you are self efficient this place is great. Check in for me was simple, I fully prepared for it to be contactless, the text I got said "you have been checked in (gave my room #) but no directions. When I texted how to get in, I was told to come to the desk. She got me checked in quickly & I was fine. I witnessed some people having melt down throughout the weekend, it all honestly was because they couldn't follow simple directions, which as I stated everything they said about the hotel being "no contact" was exactly that. They texted me everyday to check if I needed anything, answered any questions I had & supplied me with the extra pillow and blanket I requested. I rated the rooms a bit lower only because of the following: They show they supply robes (i didn't care but don't show something and not do it). There were missing hooks and the card piece on the door fell 18 times a day. For the money they make, this should all be top notch. The windows are pretty sound proof, as loud as it was outside, I wasn't bothered, the walls however not so much LOL. But nothing was crazy, a couple drunk people loud coming in, but that was expected. Location...Location...LOCATION!! This is life!! We had tickets to a game, were able to walk there in 6 mins, there is everything within a 15 minute walking radius in ANY direction! We hung out on the rooftop throughout our stay but charged 280 to park

This was a great space to stay. I was a little skeptical about the no guest services staff and having to call a number for something but it was probably smoother than a traditional hotel. The call center answered calls and texts quickly during business hours and they were super helpful. 6 soft drinks a day and unlimited coffee/tea made me feel a little better about the amenity fee. Only few downsides but not a deal breaker by any means: 1) the floors are super creeky so I constantly heard the room above walking all over, 2) a group of other guests came in intoxicated and were yelling at me in passing in the lobby which I guess you could get that at any hotel, and 3) their automated system texts you a lot to check in on you, to do the online check in process even though you did it and then I got a checkout text asking for payment even though I paid everything. I had to call to confirm and they said I didn't have to pay and they'll take care of it.

We loved everything about this hotel. From the nostalgic feeling it gave to the cleanliness and room lay out. Will definitely be staying there again.

Loved, loved, loved it here! Would definitley stay again. Affordable and soo so close to Wrigley. Walking distance to all the bars and restaurants. Quiet and safe property. Beautiful room too!

If you are looking for location this is 4 stars!! We went for the Christmas pop-ups and it was a perfect spot for walking. It would also be prefect for a Cubs game as well. The only thing that was "different" for me was not having someone on-site 24 hours-a-day. Still not sure how I feel about that. We also were put in a room where the fire alarm kept beeping and after we left they told us it would be fixed. One member of our group came back to the room around 8pm and it was not fixed. We were moved to another room, but I thought, what if it was after "hours" for on-site staff...would it be considered a call to the emergency only line??

Staycation in Wrigleyville during the winter. Beautifully Decorated Baseball Themed Hotel. Very comfortable and clean. Texts are immediately responded to. I will definitely return in the summer!

Everything was fine EXCEPT the customer service/payment... Reserved room with my debit card on ******* for "reserve now, pay later." When I got to the hotel I used my credit card. The lady at the desk ran the credit card. The next morning woke up to a reservation fee charge on my debit card, and a $58 charge on my CC. When I tried calling customer service, NO ONE answered the phone. I called 8 different times throughout the day during their hours but no one even returned my voicemail. Ended up texting the number that I kept getting messages from. They sent a receipt and there are like 4 different charges for guest fee, room fee, and whatever else. The person said they'll issue a refund within 5 days. Turns out they refunded the room fee to my credit card, not my debit. Luckily I filled a dispute with my bank. Hopefully THEY'RE more competent than the hotel "customer service."

Our room was perfect, very modern, and clean! We came up to stay for the holiday pop up bars! Perfect location for this! Receptionist was on site and helped us check into our room. Parking was about one block down, walking distance.. We will be staying here again!
