We booked this hotel for 8 nights based on some positive reviews but left after the first night. We had booked a Deluxe Room, but were put into a different room because “that’s what we have available.” It had no place to put luggage, no place to put clothes, no table, no chair, no place to put soap, shampoo, etc in the shower, no kettle, tea or coffee (until we had to ask for it). It’s basically a bed in a dingy, sad room. It does NOT look like the photos at all. The owner, Jenny, told us on the first night that she would have a different room the next morning. When we asked her about it, she also said there was a no desk, no closet, no table, or storage space in that room either. We told her about the giant cockroach that was in our sink and the mold on the windowsills, then negotiated a 50% refund and left. Jenny is a very sweet woman, but would do well to learn the basics of customer’s needs. If you’re running a hostel (which Sculpture used to be, apparently), then be a hostel. But if you want to call yourself a hotel, you might consider the basics of a stay, like where a guest might put their clothes, their soap, where they might sit or work, etc., while staying at your property.
