The hotel is located in the old town area of Chania and so your Taxi driver will drop you off 200 yards distant. It is a pleasant walk on cobble stones passing loads of interesting shops and restaurants. Upon arrival we could not have been made more welcome. Thank you Azade hotel staff. It is a quirky hotel converted from an old Venetian building and so the rooms can be (in our case) architecturally interesting. The rooms are large, air conditioned and all the furnishings are modern and of a good quality, our welcome included a bottle of local wine and pastries. We were on the 3rd floor and our terrace enjoyed the afternoon sunshine but did not have much of a view. Other 3rd floor rooms had a better view but less shade. Even in October the sun was very strong so the shade was appreciated. The only negative in the room was the lack of storage space for clothes but we managed okay. The wardrobe was adequate. Let me tell you about the breakfast, it was amazing, extensive with lots of choices, you will not need a big lunch if you have a big breakfast. We would stay in the Azade again and are very pleased to recommend it to you. It is very conveniently located in the old town and again I will praise the staff for their welcome, help and attention to detail. Spent 3 wonderful nights in a 3 story Maisonette. Manager Santos & his team know how to treat you special. From arrival to departure they were attentive and helpful. Santos even made us a huge bagged breakfast when we needed to leave to the airport at 4 am! The hotel is a restored 16th century property that is unique in design and lovely. The linens on the bed and excellent mattress made for a wonderful night sleep. If you book a Maisonette you’ll find on the first floor a full bath, lounging couch (which can be used as a bed), dining table, storage space and coffee bar/fridge. On the second floor is another full bath, king bed and more storage. On level 3 is the rooftop terrace (you access it from a private staircase just outside your unit). Each night we sat back to watch the sunset and drink wine. Lovely! This hotel is 5 minutes walk from the Talos Square, which is where you meet drivers for Chania adventures or rides to the airport etc. You are situated in Old Town and like all the hotels in Old Town it is not possible to have pick up and drop off at front doors. To us this was the pedestrian friendly charm of Chania, but if you require a vehicle to drop you directly in front of a front door to a hotel then you’ll need to look for lodging outside the Old Town.

I rarely write reviews but I feel that this hotel definitely needs me to write one. From the moment we walked in the front door we were warmly greatly by staff. Thru out our stay nothing was too kuch trouble. They answered all our questions and provided very useful information and tips to make our stay extremely enjoyable. Rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. Woolf strongly recommend staying at this hotel. You will not be disappointed.

We are selective about our hotels and Azade exceeded all of our expectations. The hotel manager Xanthos and everyone of the staff were exceedingly helpful and warm. The hotel is sophisticated, immaculate and beautifully decorated. It is in a wonderful location for exploring the old town of Chania. We would return here in a heartbeat.

Beautiful modern design full of artwork, sympathetic with the building's impressive history, in one of the prettiest alleyways of the old town. Inside it feels serene, calm and a million miles away from the tourist throng. Our suite with walled terrace was wonderful (although more storage space would have been appreciated!). Breakfast of "daily items" was fresh and lovely, plus a la carte if required. Xanthos, Ilo, Artemis and the team are very friendly and helpful. We hired a car for 2 days, with help from Artemis, and parking was not a stress as the hire car company let us park in their car park (about 10/15 mins walk) overnight. We loved our week there. And we can honestly say we arrived as strangers and left as friends!

Самые приятные воспоминания остались от отеля.Удобное расположение, в самом сердце старого города.Номер тоже на высоте- красивый вид с террасы, удобная кровать, в ванной комнате обычный душ+ тропический, плюс косметические принадлежности (в тч кондиционер для волос- для меня это важно, и мыло хорошего качества); кофемашина с капсулами, чай 3 видов; халат, тапочки. В качестве комплемента- фрукты и орешки. У мужа был день рождения- по этому случаю отель оставил открытку. Останавливались на 1 ночь, но с удовольствием продлили бы свой отдых
