We just went for the lunch and what a wonderful treat. The terrace was the setting of the pre-dinner drinks, the relaxed atmosphere was extremely convivial an a foretaste of what was come. There is an inner and outer dinning area. Given the heat everyone choose the outer walled courtyard. The shade of the wide boughed tree and the umbrellas ensured a comfortable ambiance to enjoy the meal. The service was both attentive and polite. The menu choices excellent with a reasonably priced range. You had a choice of set menus. One at 21 euros the other at 29.with two starters, two mains and a dessert. For the nominal extra charge you also had a choice from the excellent cheeseboard. The highs were the actual meal, the low was the wait for the main meal on what was clearly a very busy lunchtime. That said, no one rushed you and you could have sat there, sipping your wine, until the evening sitting. A highly recommended venue either to stay or just eat.

We arrived at 7.45pm and I write this at 21.15pm. It took nearly an hour to take our order and then we had to complain to even get drinks! The menu is small but fab but many people in the lovely open air space. The prices are reasonable but many people are scowling with no food coming out of the kitchen. Our very nice starter came out at 21.16 with no apologies or explanations. The food so far was fine. One of our party thought the melon under ripe and too cold. Was this because we had waited far too long? We had the Menu du Terroir which had local produce. The vegetarian menu was good. Bit by the time we ate we were all hungry and grumpy.

This is a big favourite of our family. We always come here on each trip to the Ardeche and have shared many special celebrations here. Always excellent food and very professional service. Always carer well for our various dietary needs. I highly recommend the vegetarian menu!

We have stayed here in the past and eaten a number of time. The food is well presented and cooked well but if it is a busy time then the service can be slow even for France. If you have the time enjoy it here

We went to celebrate a birthday. Only ate in the Restaurant. The single word to use was 'dour' and unwelcoming. Not a smile in the house. We could not walk out as we were captive, nearest restaurant was miles away. Food was 'stewed' and clearly been sitting in the kitchen, potato dauphinoise a traditional french dish was unrecogniseable, other veg collapsed and oily, menu clearly presented as something the kitchen could mainly prepare in advance, we paid 190 euro approx for very average quality food. Even the Cheese had been sitting around 'unloved', seemed to be no pride or love in the presentation of our meal. We were so looking forward what promised to be a great meal!

Freundlicher Empfang und guter Service! Ein sehr schöner Ort für Ruhe und Erholung! In warmen Jahreszeiten schöne Terasse und Pool mit Garten. Ausgezeichnete Küche und schöne Weinkarte; schade, dass die aufgeführten Jahrgänge nicht stimmen!
