We recently spent 3 nights at the Himalayan Cabana at WowStayz Ashoka Grand Hotel near Dalhousie, and the experience was nothing short of magical. Nestled amidst pine-covered hills, this property offers a perfect blend of luxury, tranquility, and raw Himalayan charm. The room itself was stunning – featuring floor-to-ceiling glass windows that opened up to uninterrupted views of the valley. Waking up to a blanket of clouds floating just outside our window, and watching the sunrise slowly paint the mountains in golden hues, felt surreal. It was like living inside a postcard. The in-house dining deserves a special mention – every meal we had was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. Their local Himachali dishes were a delightful surprise. The staff was warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, making our stay all the more comfortable. Additional touches like cozy wooden interiors, and peaceful walking trails nearby made our stay extra special. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, and all you want to do is sit with a hot cup of chai and soak in the view. If you’re planning a peaceful summer retreat, mark this place on your bucket list.
