호텔 일 카스텔로 체르탈도

A lovely hotel with a delicious breakfast. Friendly, kind and competent staff. A great location with fabulous views. In addition, had nightly drinks and was able to sit outside and peacefully watch the world go by. I highly recommend this lovely hotel.

This hotel is in a very convenient location in Certaldo Alto, next to the funicular. This makes it a short walk from the railway, My room was clean and comfortable, and the view from the window was delightful. The staff are friendly and attentive. I also ate here on two occasions, a dinner on the restaurant terrace and lunch in the garden. Both times I found the food good and the ambience relaxing.

We had to change locations in Certaldo and luckily this one had some last-minute openings! The greatest choice we ever made. The air conditioning was good, the breakfast was amazing (included) the restaurant was superb (extra but worth the price which was very reasonable) and the entire layout was gorgeous. Just as you would wish to see in the Tuscany area. Just like a travel book of beauty, the outside seating was marvelous and picturesque. You go by train into town and then walk about 5-10 min (depending on speed) up the main street to the funicular which comes every 10-15 minutes and ride it up to town,it is the first main hotel on your right. 1 min walk! The main host spoke excellent English and the entire premises were pristine! Most people don't think of Certaldo as a destination, but we chose it because it wasn't in Florence, but close enough by train. Also, we had a Vespa tour of Tuscany planned and an excellent Cooking class here (within 4 4-minute walk of the hotel) with Cusina Giuseppe. So all in all, the best location for the entire "old town" with castle-like walls to go to all the restaurants.

Stayed at this small intimate hotel during a workshop in the area,, 5 pleasant nights. Alfred , the owner, is present at the hotel, cares for his guests, the place is very clean , comfortable. Breakfast served in the lovely garden , jazz music is playng all day long. Thank you alfred

Bien placé mais vraiment un prix excessif par rapport au service ...Le petit déjeuner est particulièrement frugal et il faut vraiment demander son café plusieurs fois...Il n'y a aucune ambiance et on ne se sent pas accueillis. La chambre (Suite) est confortable et la salle de bains parfaite.

L'albergo è situato nel cuore medievale di Certaldo Alto, luogo ricchissimo di storia e cultura; la costruzione è uno splendido e originale edificio dell'epoca. Le camere sono grandi e dotate dei servizi necessari. Il proprietario è stato molto cortese, così come il personale.
