During my recent visit to Caticlan, I had the unfortunate experience of staying at Navarro Hotel Caticlan. I must admit that my stay was far from satisfactory. Upon entering the room, I was greeted by a damp atmosphere and an unpleasant musty odor. The lack of proper ventilation made the room uncomfortable throughout my stay. Adding to my disappointment, I encountered roaches in the bathroom, which raised concerns about the hotel's cleanliness and maintenance. The breakfast offered at Navarro Hotel Caticlan was also underwhelming. The limited selection and lackluster taste left much to be desired. While the staff members were friendly and accommodating, their warmth could not make up for the overall shortcomings. In conclusion, Navarro Hotel Caticlan did not meet my expectations. The moist room, presence of roaches, and unsatisfactory breakfast made it difficult to justify the cost of my stay. I advise considering other accommodation options when visiting Caticlan.

Just outside the town on the road to the Arrivals terminal (the Departure terminal is in town at the opposite end of the runway – perhaps the most bizarre airpport in the world?). Tricky walk at night as theyre are no pavements, only a stony path along the road, and poor street lighting, but OK during the day. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The room was large, with clean bathroom, comfortable bed, and good wifi. The town has the usual local eateries, and wakling to the pier to or from Boracy takes 10 minutes. Given how few hotel options Caticlan offers, this is a good choice as long as you don't expect frills.
