움베르토 하우스 카나티아(Umberto House Catania)

衞生：衞生間稍微有點點味道 多通風就好 處於市中心，離哪都不遠，走路都能到 工作人員服務很好，設施齊全，值得選擇

It has a good location, you can get to important places quickly The elevator was a bit creepy at the beginning but nice The nice lady at the reception had good tips on what to look at. She spoke very good English. Breakfast was great. I would recommend it to others.

A nice B&B Hotel with a kind helpfull staff .we gad a very nice room, with a very well working air condition. Breakfast was quite good , the Coffee was very , very good. I love the furniture, and the paintings at the walls , it generated a feeling like in a Museum. The Hotel offers a Shuttle to the Airport with a very good price.

The location of the hotel is good, the staff is friendly. Wi-Fi in the hotel is poor. Breakfast good. Everything was perfect and I will highly recommand to all my friends. If we visit again Catania, we will turn back to stay to you happily

I really enjoyed staying here after contacting the hotel to arrange a transfer from the airport direct to the hotel. Some rooms face the street so they may be a little noisier than others (didn't bother me) so you may want to contact reception if you want a rear (off street) room. The rooms are over a few floors and there's a small lift if you don't like stairs.

If you are going to Catania, Sicily, a good hotel choice is Umberto House. We stayed there for seven nights in August 2021. It is in a great location with lots of shops, restaurants, bakeries, pharmacies, markets, and only half a block from Borghese Gardens—a nice refuge from the hustle and bustle. It is located on the first and second European floors of an apar**ent building. What sets this hotel apart is the Manager/Owner, Senior Salvatore, who himself lives in an apar**ent in the same building. Pride of ownership is everywhere. The place is spotless and nicely decorated. Unlike sterile hotel rooms, the décor here really make you feel like you are in a home in Italy. Senior Salvo was available 24/7 for anything. He was very helpful in securing a Covid PCR test for our return to the United States. He called the lab for us and even walked to the pharmacy to make sure that they knew about us coming. When we arrived, he patiently showed us two different rooms and let us decide which one we wanted. We chose the room on the second floor with a balcony. Although a bit noisier than the first-floor quieter room, it was large, with lots of light, a wardrobe, and plenty of desk and counter space. It even had a chandelier on the ceiling. Breakfast was included. There was a good selection of cereal, yogurt, cold cuts, cheese, varied juices, bread, Italian pastries, fresh fruit, and made to order coffee. There was a quiet patio seating area which was perfect for Covid social distancing. We will definitely return to Umberto House for our next visit to Catania.

Wir suchten ein Hotel in Innenstadtnähe und waren bei diesem Hotel genau richtig. Ein paar Meter entfernt ist ein Park, die Hauptstr. Via Ätna war gleich um die Ecke.  Und das Tolle abends ist man sofort an einer besonderen Gasse. Dort gibt es sehr viele Restaurant. Wir waren in dreien Sie waren alle gut. Die Mitarbeiter sind im Hotel alle liebenswert und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten ein Maleur und waren glücklich über die Hilfe. Die Betten waren gut. Zimmer ausreichend groß für uns 3., das Bad großzügig. Ich bin der Meinung , dass es etwas mehr zum Frühstück gibt als in vielen anderen Hotels.

Hotel in un vecchio palazzo in centro a catania. Parcheggiare un disastro, mattonelle in tutto l’hotel che tendono a muoversi, bagno nuovo ma gli scarichi emanano cattivo odore. Colazione a 6euro con prodotti da supermercato, tutto mangiabile ma dimenticabile

Sono stata in questa struttura una settimana fa e c'è da dire che siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Stanza pulita, ordinata. Ingresso confortevole e personale gentile e disponibile. Colazione veramente eccellente!! Ricca di tutto, dal salato al dolce. Taglieri di salumi, frutta fresca di stagione,formaggi, cornetti cotti al punto giusto. È raro trovare una prima colazione di questo livello. Il ragazzo al banco bravo, cordiale e gentile. Punto perfetto, a pochissimi metri dal centro della città. Torneremo l'anno prossimo per le vacanze!! Unica pecca (se così si può dire)... La ragazza della reception un po' sgarbata e scortese nei modi. A presto.
