I had a wonderful experience in Sicily. The spa was pristine, the staff was attentive, and the treatments were incredibly relaxing. The ambiance was serene, and the facilities were top-notch. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a rejuvenating getaway.

These rooms (not suites) are in an excellent location. 10/10 In the old building, they are all ( I think there are 6 or 7 rooms total) on the 3rd floor and luckily enough there is a private elevator especially made for the rooms. Breakfast is served in the room and they explain that it is "Italian breakfast" meaning that it consists of one tea or coffee and one croissant or a local sweet. Served in a very small tray with no extra plates or napkins quite difficult to enjoy. The rooms are as pictured in the photos on the hotel's site. Perfect mattresses, and excellent Wi-Fi. They have given great importance to design (of which they seem to be very proud of..) which is nice but according to my personal experience has quite a few "mistakes" which make one's stay a bit not so perfect..For example (in my room) on one side of the bed there was a big gap which was quite likely to fall in, especially at night. Also, the lighting was not enough.. Some rooms have no view at all, luckily I chose one with a view which of course was more expensive. !! The worst part is the entrance of the building which is simply ...awful and dirty . It is a sort of internal small yard as most of the old buildings in the historic center have, but this one was one of the worst. Garbage was all around and even the entrance to the private lift was in total decay. As a result, I do not find a good value-for-money relationship. P.S When I booked the room they gave me a non-refundable price which I accepted and paid since it was just a week before my arrival. 2 or 3 days later there was an explosion at the Etna volcano and the news was all around the media in my country so I thought I could postpone my trip for a couple of days. So I called them and asked, if I could change the dates to just a few days later always according to THEIR availability. They simply refused telling me that it was NOT refundable. I explained that I was NOT asking for a refund but a change of dates always according to the dates that suited THEM. But they did absolutely NOTHING not even trying to be polite. Of course not wanting to lose my money I went, but I found that not only unprofessional but also rude.!!

We had a fantastic time staying at this hotel. It is very central, located in City Centre, close enough to the historic landmarks, but off the main area and away from the hustle and bustle. The hotel was extremely spacious, was modern, clean and had great amenities - Salvatore Farragamo. Before we arrived, Giorgia had sent a WhatsApp message to call her when we arrived at the front. We called her and she was there in no time to assist with our luggage and check us in swiftly. Giorgia also assisted with our daily breakfast requests. One day we forgot to order breakfast, as we had spent the day in Taormina. I messaged Giorgia on WhatsApp and she promptly sent the menu, then took our order for the following morning. Breakfast in Italy is sweet in general and I could not get enough of the ricotta cannoli and fruit teas. The only downside is that downstairs is quite dirty and there was construction going on every morning that we stayed from 8am. Although downstairs is quite dirty, we felt safe in that Giorgia had texted us the codes to the lifts, so only the hotel guests were aware and we felt secure upstairs. Thank you Giorgia for also assisting us with booking the transfer to the bus station and helping us with our luggage upon our departure. We definitely want to come back to Catania in the future and stay at Meo Design Suites & Spa again!

Che dire grandi aspettative per questo posto visto il prezzo altissimo per una notte. Vediamo i vari punti della mia analisi facendo la premessa che avevo scelto Meo per fare delle foto, infatti arredamento di design vista incredibile e ottima luce. Le pecche però sono tante rispetto al prezzo, non è possibile far pagare una bottiglia d’acqua in un B&B di questo livello, almeno l’acqua si regala. La tanto decantata spa aveva dei sistemi di chiusura delle porte che facevano uscire il calore sia nel bagno turco che nella sauna, in particolare nel bagno turco c’erano dei fili che uscivano da una cassetta e la muffa sotto il sedile. La colazione ho compreso che non la potete portare presto ma trovate un alternativa per chi parte presto….. Chiedo venia ma questa recensione è correlata al prezzo, se fosse stato 100€ in meno niente da ridire ma a quel prezzo pretendo di più…

Struttura nel cuore del centro storico di Catania all'interno di un antico palazzo storico. Personale professionale e molto gentile, interni moderni e puliti. Stanza grande con bagno sopra la media. Molto silenzioso. Spa intima con sauna e bagno turco, no vasca idromassaggio. Unica pecca la vista su cortile interno.
