My only suggestion would be that the mattress is not comfortable and the day beds by the pool could use a little more comfort. Or maybe even a curtain/side shelter around the bed for the rain. It’s too bad about the mattress as my back was in pain after a few nights. Otherwise the staff are amazing! The food is amazing and the peace and quiet was also much appreciated!

Very quiet secluded cozy spot. Just what I was looking for. However PLEASE PACK INSECT REPELLENT for mosquitoes and get resort towels early. They go quickly. I'd love for the property to invest in more towels. Lots of steps so not the best place if you have mobility issues. The tree frogs don't sleep so ear plugs could be helpful if a light sleeper. Public Beach partnership is nice but you have to pay for beverages onsite and restroom use. Staff was amazing and that is always the difference !

I had an amazing time here. The staff is amazing and they do an excellent job of keeping the resort clean and entertaining their guests. The food was also delicious. I would definitely recommend and return for another visit

Great food. Great service. Room just needed some dusting but fine, cleaner glassware, minor stuff but missed a 5-star rating. Would return. Shuttle to town and beach convenient.

I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was very nice. Stasia at the front desk Mano the shuttle driver and Tinika the bar attendant was excellent. There wasn’t a beach on the property but there was a complimentary shuttle service to the beach which was great. I didn’t like the beach tho but still enjoyed my time. Water should be provided at no additional cost to the rooms, this was strange to me. Water should be provided in rooms to keep guests hydrated, it is after all an all inclusive hotel, the environs was exceptionally clean and tranquil, food was great

Location is about 1 hours from international airport. Expect to pay around $85-$100 for a taxi. Roads are windy and steep and driving can be on the erratic side. Resort is situated in a residential area and walking anywhere is risky. There are no sidewalks and the terrain is very hilly. Resort is relaxed and the food was better than expected. Plenty of UK items for breakfast. Plenty of salad, fruit, cheeses, etc. Located not far from the capital and the hotel offers shuttle service. You’ll be there in less than 10 minutes. Not much to do in the city. Markets for tourists but that’s really it. I went into town for some grocery items, Coke, sunscreen, etc. I was hoping for some kind of square or ***** to shop and have coffee, sit down, relax, etc….Unfortunately there isn’t one. Taxi driver on the way back to airport told me there are more things to do around the resorts/****** area, which is around 15 minutes north of this resort. In this area you can walk around. Wish I’d of known that earlier. Most excursions involve hiking, walking, etc. The staple water excursions are also available. If you want to do absolutely nothing and relax, I recommend the resort. Using it as a base for excursions, etc, will involve a lot of travel time to and from. Accommodation was comfortable, entertainment was better on some nights than others. Coffee could be better quality if I’m being honest. Back to the food. Each night had a different theme and overall there were many delicious items.

Everything was excellent the staff was great friendly Leo, Sean, Brandon, Samantha, and other...Food and drinks unbelievable..I will definitely be going back there...I was there from 16th November to 20th November and it was to short 😀 👍...I recommend anyone to go there its really great you will enjoy it..

We had an awesome time at Bel Jou! The hotel is so calm and organized! Everything from the welcome to the demeanor of the staff! Additionally, the food is totally delicious and the variety is great! We stayed from 11/18/23-11/20/23. Special mention to all the staff but we managed to get some names: Shanel, Andrea, Annabelle, Stasia and Kidada. Thanks for making our stay easy and relaxing! Hoping to be back soon!! This was our first visit to the island! Stanley and Shirleth!🌻🌹👍
