Dimora Cottanera

One of our most enjoyable stay during our 12 days trip around Sicily. Upon landing at Catania airport, we drove all the way to Dimora Cottanera, arriving after dark. Stayed here for three nights and weren’t bored. Excellent ambience, great views, good amenities, nice and strong hot water, very comfortable beds, very good breakfast. The infinity pool was too cold in November, but we did enjoy the sauna and the outdoor bath. Credits to Serena who was really nice and helpful. She arranged our Mt Etna trip and wine tasting.

We booked only one night into this property between our Mt. Etna and Taormina stops. We wanted to stay in the Northern Etna wine area and do some tastings. We were immediately impressed with the hotel and with Vincenzo who greeted us. The weather was cool and cloudy and so we were not able to make the most of the magnificent pool and grounds. However the room, the bathroom, the breakfast and our wine tasting more than made up for it. Vincenzo could not have been more helpful even offering suggestions for dinner in Taormina with him making the reservations. If you are coming in warmer weather, this is a great place to stay a few days so that in addition to day trips you can relax and enjoy the hotel. Do the wine tasting! We did the 4 glass with tasty treats but also heard people raving about the tasting and lunch.

Big Grazie to Serena and Team Cottanera who made our 3 night winter stay wonderful, for our family of four. They were exceptionally accommodating, gave great recommendations of restaurants and places to visit, and they put out a delicious breakfast spread. Rooms were newly renovated and very comfortable. The wine tasting session and vineyard tour by Patricia was very informative and relaxing. Once again big thank you to the team and we hope to be back again!

Struttura nuova, immersa nei vigneti, molto curata e raffinata. Bellissima l'area benessere dove ci sono le antiche botti e il bellissimo palmento. Piscina a sfioro sulla vigna e verde curatissimo in tutta la struttura. La stanza grande, con un bellissimo tetto in legno, ottimi i prodotti per la cura della persona, unica pecca, la luce in camera troppo bassa...impossibile truccarsi. Colazione, ECCELLENTE, tantissime torte fatte in casa, piatti espressi su richiesta, prodotti locali e servizio impeccabile. Straconsigliata anche per la posizione veramente strategica, puoi scegliere tranquillamente fra ETNA e NEBRODI .... cosa volere di più!

Das Hotel liegt idyllisch mitten in den Weinbergen. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Wir wurden direkt mit frisch gebackenen Kuchen und Cappuccino begrüßt. Unser Zimmer Nr. 6 ist sehr stimmig eingerichtet, inkl. Espresso-Maschine und es war stets sehr sauber. Die Mitarbeiter von der Rezeption waren immer hilfsbereit mit Tipps für Wanderungen und Reservierungen für unser Abendessen. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet und ganz besonders die reichliche Auswahl an selbst gebackenen Kuchen. Die empfohlene Massage haben wir sehr genossen und ist ein Muss bei jedem Aufenthalt. Das nächste Mal wird auch der Pool und das Gym ausprobiert. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder. Danke an das gesamte Dimora Cottanera Team.

Ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare presso l'Hotel a febbraio e sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto dell'esperienza vissuta. La camera in cui ho alloggiato era semplicemente perfetta. Un ambiente caldo e accogliente, arredato con materiali di pregio. Il marmo dei pavimenti, il legno dei soffitti e l’eleganza dei rivestimenti in marmo dei bagni. Il letto era incredibilmente comodo, garantendo un sonno riposante dopo lunghe giornate di esplorazione. La vista dalla finestra era mozzafiato, regalandomi uno scorcio panoramico sulle vigne cche ho apprezzato im particolare la mattina. Il personale dela dimoral meriterebbe un plauso speciale. Dal momento del check-in alla partenza, sono stati cortesi, professionali e sempre disponibili ad accogliere ogni nostra esigenza. Tutto questo ha inevitabilmente reso il soggiorno il meno asettico e più famigliare possibile. Giudizio estremamente positivo anche sulla cucina, con l'offerta di prodotti genuini che riflettevano la cultura e le tradizioni del territorio.

Piacevole sorpresa: la struttura é nuovissima, accogliente, il parcheggio è dall’altro lato della strada, da alcuni punti si può osservare l’Etna. La camera era molto spaziosa, nuovissima e molto pulita, con vista sui filari di vite della cantina. Lo staff é sempre stato molto gentile, grazie a Vincenzo, Serena, Graziella, Concetta e Vincenzo.

Sono andata con mio marito per un weekend di relax ed è stato proprio così ! Fin dal arrivo ti innamora la struttura, il passaggio, l'Etna , posto incantevole veramente. La colazione molto completa e anche molto saporita (torte e ciambelle TOP ) stanza comodissima ... siamo rimasti molto contenti! E devo aggiungere che lo staff fa anche tanto , complimenti ! 100% consigliabile. Leticia
