Casal Sikelio is a gem. The buildings are old , solid ,full of character and maintained to a high standard. Our rooms were spacious and well equipped, and pretty much soundproof, not that there was any noise to keep out such was the tranquil nature of the location.The grounds were immaculately maintained and well designed: lovely swimming pool, extensive lawns and well-positioned sitting-out areas. Our stay was unforgettably enhanced by Antonio, his family and staff. They were wonderfully hospitable, thoughtful, friendly and generous throughout our stay. Casal Sikelio is just a short walk to Cassibile. We enjoyed eating and drinking at the bars and restaurants of this interesting and unpretentious small town. The location of Casal Sikelio was ideal as a base for our exploration of the south-eastern area of Sicily. Hiring a car, we visited places such as Syracuse, Taormina, Noto and Marzamemi before returning to Casal Sikelio . We have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful establishment.

Amazing holiday as a family of 3 from the UK. Hotel is fantastic with beautiful buildings, large grassy areas with fruit trees, clean, spacious, modern rooms and an incredible swimming pool. Nearby town 5mins walk with plenty of cafes, bakeries and restaurants with full variety of tasty Italian cuisine. We caught air-conditioned buses/coaches to neighbouring Syracuse & Ortigia for a delightful historic trip and boat ride. Nearby beach was 5min drive or 20min walk Hank v soft sand and a warm, clear, blue sea. The owner Antonino and his colleague Desire were very helpful and friendly. Thank you Antonino & Desire for helping to make a great holiday.

We stayed for 3 nights and let me tell you it was fabulous. The apartments are roomy, stylish with cute restorative features of the original farm house. Very secure, safe, quiet and comfortable. All the mod cons and lots of spices, coffee milk and water provided. Plenty of towels and the option to rent big fluffy towels for the pool for only €5 for your entire stay. The owner Antonio is an absolute sweetheart. He couldn’t do more to help us, with constant communication from booking (we had many questions) to even dropping us off at the train station for our next journey. We did not rent a car as it was so expensive but he helped us for one day so we could visit cavagrande and beautiful Noto which I am eternally grateful for (a very good price and made very easy for us) And then the grounds …. What a site. A beautiful huge pool with dip pool and jacuzzi, beautiful outdoor showers and massive gardens all around dripping with giant lemons and beautiful flowers and cactus. Soft grass and large separate play area for little people! Large outdoor kitchen with barbecue and plenty of various outdoor seating. I could not fault this place. And they all speak very good English. 25 mins stroll to the beach of Fontaine bianche and a casual 10 min stroll to cassibile which has great local fruit, veg and fish shops. Plenty of bars and places to eat. My particular favourite was National which was recommended by Antonio and it was fresh traditional and delicious, full of locals Thanks Antonio we will be back xxxx

Gros coup de cœur pour cet hôtel plein de charme, préservé, loin de la foule en plein mois d’août. Si vous recherchez un endroit calme, nature et intimiste, alors c’est l’adresse idéale. Les appartements sont tout confort, et Antonino et son équipe sont au petit soin pour les clients. Nous avons aussi apprécié la grande piscine aménagée, dans un cadre magnifique. Une voiture est recommandée pour découvrir cette belle région de Syracuse. Un grand merci à Antonino et toute l’équipe pour votre super accueil !

Casal Sikelio. Un'oasi di tranquillità immersa in una parte di Sicilia a dir poco favolosa. Abbiamo appena trascorso una settimana presso questo antico casale tutto ristrutturato e curato nei minimi dettagli per una pausa di ristoro davvero rigenerante. Immerso in una quiete travolgente, offre una pausa rigenerante grazie ad una piscina pulitissima, un giardino grande e curatissimo con vista mare all'orizzonte. Appartamento dotato di tutto ciò che serve anche per chi ama cucinare in vacanza assaporando le materie prime che la Sicilia vanta in tutto e per tutto: prodotti da forno, frutta e verdura, olio e vino. Cucina con tutto il necessario, comprese le spezie e i condimenti!!!! Sito in zona strategica per visitare spiagge bellissime (riserva di Vendicati, Portopalo, Isola delle correnti, Fontane Bianche ma anche città come Noto, Avola e la zona di Siracusa incantevole con la sua storia antica senza dimenticare isola di Ortigia, un gioiello davvero prezioso. Distante 50 minuti da Catania questa location merita davvero una recensione al massimo della valutazione. Infine, complimenti a tutto lo staff perché se il cliente si sente bene in questo posto significa che c'è chi ogni giorno si dedica con passione alla Cura del luogo e delle persone. Non ultimo anche le signore delle pulizie sono state molto attente e la pulizia è davvero a livelli ottimali. Stra stra stra consigliato. La Sicilia anche questa volta non ha deluso, anzi ci ha lasciato con la voglia di ritornare al più presto!!!

Siamo stati ospiti di un matrimonio e abbiamo pernottato proprio quella sera. La location è rilassante, elegante e curata. La camera che ci è stata assegnata era pulita e spaziosa. Prima di andare via abbiamo fatto un bagno nella bellissima piscina. I proprietari sono stati molto attenti e gentili.
