Spent a week there. What a wonderful place! A small hotel, recently and permanently renovated. They are serving delicious breakfast with regional Piemont specialties. Very much client-oriented: You can tell that thay are going "the extra mile" to make the stay for their guests pleasant and memorable. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. When we were facing a medical issue with a tooth, Alessandro and his wife (both from the hotel team) arranged immediatly a visit with their family dentist and we were able to continue our vacation. Incredible. The rooms are nicely furnished and everything very well kept. The quiet hotel is embedded in the middle of the town of Bistagno with its authentic Italian town center. No tourists. A couple of very small local alimetari (food shops), bakeries as well as two ice-cream places just around the corner. This all gives you the impression of living the "Italian" way. We strongly recommend visiting Acqui Terme, the nearest town - also totally authentic and not touristy at all. We expected nothing and were absolutely positively surprised.

I decided to stay at the Monteverde Hotel in Bistagno during a relaxing week-end. The hotel is located in a tiny and pretty village near Alessandria, a strategic position if you want to visit the Monferrato and the Langhe famous wine areas. Finally we decided to have the dinner at the restaurant which was a tremendously positive surprise. The hotel is clearly renovated and in great and modern shape, the superior room was more than adequante for a couple, very comfortable and in my style looking but my main comment is about the restaurant which showed a tailored menu shaped according to the Pindemonte tradition. Exciting starters ("foamy" egg with trufle as in the picture) and pasta and main courses all made of high quality ingredients and clever receipts. Don't forget the cheese as dessert, they will offer you a wide variety of typical sheep and goat cheeses (and not only) from the trolley. And I need to mention the long and comprehnsive list of wines which are experctly and accurately selected according to your taste and menu. Thank you Sabina and to her staff!

Da wir unbedingt noch einmal Acqui Terme besuchen wollten, haben wir das Hotel Monteverde in Bistagno als Unterkunft gewählt. Das Hotel wirkt von außen wie viele andere Hotels seiner Klasse, ist aber innen hochmodern renoviert. Die Zimmer bieten jeglichen Komfort, sind sauber und preiswert. Die Betten sind hervorragend. Der Empfang ist herzlich Vor dem Haus gibt es zahlreiche kostenlose Parkplätze. Außerdem verfügt das Hotel mit dem La Teca über ein Spitzen-Restaurant!

Weil der kleine Ort Bistagno, mitten im Piemont und dazu günstig auf dem Weg an die Côte d'Azur liegt, beschlossen wir hier zu übernachten und ... fanden zufällig ein Kleinod! Das Hotel Monteverde ist im Familienbesitz seit die Grosseltern der heutigen Besitzerin es gründeten. Das vor Kurzem kreativ renovierte Hotel entspricht allen Wünschen: es liegt am zentralen Platz des Ortes, Gratisparkplätze liegen gegenüber dem Hotel, es gibt auch einen Parkplatz mit Ladestation für e-Autos. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, klimatisiert, das Bett ist gross und bequem, es gibt eine Minibar und und Tee/Kaffee-Station. Das Badezimmer ist modern und gut ausgestattet. Alles blitzblank sauber! Hervorheben möchte ich, dass die Renovation sehr geschickt Bezug nahm auf die Geschichte des Hauses, indem Gegenstände "von damals" für die Dekoration des Hauses genutzt wurden (siehe Fotos). Es ist positiv zu bewerten, dass zum Haus eine Enoteca und ein Restaurant gehören. Wir hatten Gelegenheit den Aperitivo des Hauses mit lokalen Spezialitäten als auch ein Abendessen im Restaurant "La Teca" zu geniessen und fanden Beides sehr gut! Bei einem nächsten Besuch wollen wir die nahegelegene "Gipsoteca" des Bildhauers Giulio Monteverde anschauen.

Un bellissimo hotel 4 stelle. Ottima pulizia e ottimo servizio, colazione con prodotti di qualità. Camera con tutto l’indispensabile e SILENZIOSISSIMA !!! La cortesia della Sig.ra Sabina, di suo papà, di suo marito e delle giovanissime nipoti deve essere davvero sottolineata… E non dimentichiamo il Ristorante La Teca … assolutamente da provare ! Grazie ancora per tutto :) Consigliatissimo !!!

Abbiamo soggiornato in famiglia e con amici in questo delizioso apart hotel. Bellissimo, splendidamente ristrutturato dentro mantenendo un fascino antico fuori. Appartamenti enormi, curati e bagni molto belli. Personale estremamente gentile, disponibile e sorridente. Colazione ricca e golosa. Consigliatissimo.
