아구아 호텔스 발레 다 라파(Vale da Lapa Village Resort)

the resort is beautiful and clean. but the only point is reception is 10 mins walk from my villa and it is said I can be added by staff WhatsApp， but during my stay no one contact me. So I can not book my breakfast and dinner.

I felt compelled to leave a review for this resort as it was one of the best I have stayed in and I thoroughly recommend it. We were a family of 4 and stayed in a 3 bedroom villa with our own pool. The wonderful experience started before we even arrived at the booking stage. The hotel were extremely helpful and even booked our transfers from and to the airport. We arrived on our first day a couple of hours delayed. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful and arranged for the diner to stay open to provide us with some food. My family are quite fussy eaters so the restaurant was a bit much for us so we stuck with pizza. Our villa was quite far from reception so one of the reception team drove us there in a golf buggy of sorts. This was very welcome after travelling most of the day and with all our cases. The villa itself was perfect. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a giant open plan living space leading on to the bedrooms (all with ensuite) and kitchen (totally kitted out ) and seperate utility area. Then out to the garden area with a large pool with steps for easy access in and out. Six comfortable loungers, Dining table and 6 chairs. The pool was also accessible from the downstairs bedrooms which was great for my boys to go in and out without getting the whole villa wet. When you arrive you are sent several Whatsapp messages which provide all the information you need on the resort including restaurant details, transport to nearly beaches, spa and much more. The Whatsapp link to reception was one of the best things as on several occassions we were able to get reception to book us taxis and answer general queries. On one occasion we contacted reception to see if they could bring something to get rid of the ants which kept appearing which they did straight away. On another occassion after coming back from the nearby town at about 10pm our air conditioning was not working so i contacted the front desk and someone was at our villa before i got down the stairs. Issue fixed straight away. There is a little train that you can hop on at reception which takes you to the nearby town which we did on a few occassions. Totally free. You can also get the same train back so saved a few quid on taxis. In summary superb accomodation, super friendly staff and fabulous facilites. Cant wait to stay again.

Nothing bad to say about this place. Lovely, clean and well looked after grounds. Villa was lovely. Very well cleaned. Beds super comfortable. We only ate at the restaurant once but it was delicious and we all enjoyed. You definitely need a car. Yes it’s easy to get a taxi, however, if you need to pop out to shop or somewhere during the day, a car is a must. Beach too far to walk, no real pavement to do it safely either. We had a lovely stay.

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at this beautiful property in Portugal. rJoel at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and attentive to us. He is a great asset to this resort! We hope to come back for a longer stay at another time and enjoy more of the property amenities.

I stayed for 9 days with my mum, and while it was a relaxing holiday I didn't think the resort was 5 stars. The location is tranquil and great if you want somewhere quiet, a car is definitely needed as the resort isn't within walking distance to the nearest town. The food in the resort wasn't good; we had dinner in the restaurant the first night, and didn't try again, as it was a disappointing experience My mum ordered chicken which was partly undercooked, and not very nice. The portions were small. The breakfast was also disappointing; I was expecting fresh juices but they were mixed with water. You can order eggs but everything else was (to me) basic. The bar food was also bad; frozen food, reheated and tasteless, I sent my order back. The villa itself was spacious but the stairs were dirty, the balcony rail wobbly and I had to report two issues with the plumbing. The hilight was the on site spa, my mum enjoyed a lovely massage and everyone onsite was friendly. Based on previous reviews I appreciate I'm in the minority but unfortunately it wasn't for me.

We can't wait to return to this beautiful resort. Staff are so friendly and helpful, the villas are so spacious and spotlessly clean. Beds are extremely comfy and the balcony off the main bedroom is the perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine and watch the sunset! We have eaten in both the main restaurant and the more casual bar both are excellent and great value. The waiting/ bar staff are all so lovely and the reception staff go out for their way to make your stay as perfect as can be! My husband and I really enjoyed our massages in the spa and the resort offer some great pilates classes too. Can't find any negatives with vale da lapa and carvoeiro is always a pleasure to return to.

We stayed here for 7 nights, then travelled to a 5 star hotel in the Hilton. We missed the Vale de Lapa Resort and the amazing staff so much that we left Vilamoura and went back. Villas are amazing so spacious, walk in wardrobes, 3 bathrooms, huge living rooms, daily cleaning. Pool area class, no one rushing to put out towels until after 9pm. There’s paddle tennis, basketball/football Astro mini pitch, covered heated pool and a spa. Lunch menu is great, there’s a selection of Tapas, omelettes, sandwiches, pizzas and lovely bar. Pricing is really reasonable compared to the Vilamoura Hotel we stayed in. Staff are so friendly and will always welcome you with a smile. Can’t wait to go back next year.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. We stayed for 3 nights here, and only wished it was longer. Stayed in a two bed villa with TV in every bedroom and also a big one downstairs. Size of the bedrooms, kitchen and living/dinning area is massive. The garden, shrubbery and a small rock pool was immaculately maintained. The indoor pool, jacuzzi , Sauna and the steam room was a huge huge plus. My wife had a hot stone massage, thinks this might be the best she ever had. The stuff at front desk are polite, the cleaners are efficient. I just could go on and on.
