Beautiful town house with private pool that would normally get a 5 star if I didn’t feel like I shared my holiday with my neighbours on both sides . The houses are immaculate and in a lovely area although a car is necessary to get around but Uber is plentiful and cheap to Csrvoeiro town centre . We rented a two bedroom town house which was in the middle of a terrace , there is a gap in the hedges exactly where your sun bed is to allow ease of passage of the gardeners , the problem is this makes you feel like you are sharing the area with your neighbours . You hear every work they say and see them constantly . This gap should really be at the end of the garden for privacy. We had very loud neighbours with teenage kids , thought nothing of cheering on their football team from home . We even knew the score . The houses themselves though are really lovely and new Rooms are large and have a huge balcony off the main bedroom . Fully equipped kitchen . Cleaning was done every second day and they were excellent . One thing to note is the staircase is quite steep if travelling with young kids or elderly . We have been travelling to Carvoeiro on and off for well over 20 years , this was our first time as a couple without our kids and it is still a wonderful place to spend a holiday .

Can’t say enough good things about this slice if paradise - it’s simply perfect. Enjoyed our stay so so much that we are actually planning the next, and this time we are going with more people. Can’t enjoy this alone - it needs to be shared. I mean talk about perfect location - quiet, peaceful and cute. We got an upgrade to a 3 bedroom townhouse (the 2 bedroom was already going to be too big so this was like palatial), so we had tons of space to spread out. One of the rooms became our dressing room 😁. Massive kitchen, very good size dining/living room (all merging into one), then out on the linai where you could comfortably have a party with 10 people are still not feel crowded. And then the pool - ooohhhhh Lord. Cute. Mindful. Demure 😊. Two bedrooms upstairs have a balcony looking over the pool also. Massive thank you to the check in team (Andre) and also the cleaning team who constantly kept the place spotless. You made our holiday so amazing. Thank you. Tips for Travellers If you intend to do some exploring then a rental car is a good idea. But Uber is readily available and not expensive. I would say think of what you would like to do, price up the uber trips and then check cost of rental - then decide which is cheaper. Factor in petrol and also parking - which can be a pain at times (in the towns not the Resort). There are nearby shops - do a good shop the first day and you’ll not need to have a repeat shopping trip. Carvoeiro is about €4/€5 in Uber - tons of shops and restaurants. Try out Levels for Breakfast, and for dinner go to the Tapas de Milho - both stunning. Don’t get tempted by Albufeira - it’s not cute. However they do have some nice sea excursions departing from the Marina.

Nice, comfortable, quiet, and spacious apartments. Each apartment is equipped with a wonderful swimming pool. It is surprising how cool the apartment is indoors even if it's hot outside. We enjoyed a 3-room apartment with the bedrooms on the 1st floor - each room equipped with a spacious bathroom (shower + toilet); the master bedroom had a bathtub. Ground floor the living room, dining table, and an open kitchen fit for a family of 6, a spacious balcony large and roomy enough to keep the warmth outside and children to play on. The swimming pool is perfect! It is not that large, but it runs deep near the back (~170 cm), which I appreciate as an experienced swimmer but if you have toddlers may be something to keep in mind. Your 'personal' swimming pool in the garden offers you sufficient privacy even though the gardens are interconnected to enable passages for the gardeners. The housekeeping is lovely and always looking to make your stay a pleasant one providing you with fresh, clean lovely smelling towels.

Beautiful area, peaceful and relaxing. Friendly reception from Sandra and Hugo. Accommodation ideal for a relaxing break. Lovely Restaurant near by or a 25 minute walk to the centre of Carvoeiro. Private pool and facilities to eat in if you don’t mind cooking.

Brilliant vilas! Spacious and clean, they are very well equipped and the kitchens had everything we needed including a Nespresso machine. The private pool was great and there was a nice and large outside table as well as inside table, plus pool lounges. You do need a car, as otherwise it would be hard to get around, but parking on site which is great. A number of close supermarkets so we were easily about to get everything we need and have a much more cost effective and convenient trip, rather than have to pay to eat out for breakfast, coffee etc. We still went out for some meals and there are a lot of local options. Local beaches are quite small so we drove to some of the larger beaches about 30 mins away. Only downside is the sound does rather echo out. We had a group next to us who played a lot of music outside, so that was quite annoying, but it wasn’t late at night and it is quiet inside if you close the door.

Wow..wow..wow!!! This place is amazing!! We are still here, travel back home tomorrow but had to write about how nice this place is! We arrived just after 3 to the most welcoming site manager Hugo, he was so helpful, showing us the maps & giving a little insight of what’s around. We drove around to our house & it was better than expected! I mean it looked good on the pics but in real life it’s even better! The space you have as a family is immense! We have teenage daughters so it’s nice for them to have their own space as well as us! All was super clean & furnishings modern & stylish. Kitchen fully equips, air-con amazing & the choice of Netflix/Disney etc was a huge bonus for us, we like watching a film or two! Well..when I saw the automatic shutters I was amazed! This was a game changer! You can literally shut the heat out! ..was brill! Then we checked the pool out which is wicked, being able to take a dip when u want was amazing ..& no sun bed wars which we wanted to avoid this year. Only two sun beds were around the pool & so we asked for another two & they were delivered straightaway! Great service! Asked Hugo for umbrellas too & it was no problem at all! Cleaning staff v attentive, dropped fresh towels regularly. Over all this place is a beautiful place to stay..but a car is probably needed as there aren’t many close by restaurants in walking distance. Eating out - we hired a car here so could drive out to different restaurants, here are some my picks. The Lighthouse - lovely meal, terrace to have drinks after. Maybe book here as gets v busy. Cafe fino - great English breakfast! Toastier etc. We didn’t try it for other meals but they do lunch & dinner (maybe we’ll try tonight?) Jardim do farol - huge portions! Nice meals. We had, beef stroganoff, pork, pizza & all really nice! We will definitely return to Vale de Milho, such a private place which we appreciate when we holiday. Thanks Vale de Milho we’ll be back!
