Tellico trout farm and Andy’s trout farm. For catch and pay. And the rivers of course. The other side of Wayah Rd is always full of fly fishermen. And Cherokee has the cheap day licenses and stock the river every week, not sure which day they stock it but it’s never good the day they stock it, they’re not hungry yet. Also have always caught fish at the KOA campground ponds in Cherokee.

We had a wonderful stay at the Reagan House. It was easy to find and very convenient to the highway, to downtown Franklin and to hiking. Our daughter loved the game room downstairs. Wonderful place to stay.

Great stay
We had a group of 9 with our dogs. We felt there was plenty of room for everyone and no one felt cramped. We had a couple of hiccups but the owner quickly responded and rectified the situations. He was very responsive and very helpful. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent this cabin again.

Lots of room
Property is just as described. 4 plus bedrooms and plenty of beds. Little extras in kitchen were a plus. Coffee, sugar, cream, spices and more. Trees over driveway need trimming. Easy to find. About 5 minutes west of Franklin.

Family Weekend Getaway
The Reagan House had something for everyone in our family. The Grandkids enjoyed ping pong and air hockey and running around outdoors. The house was spacious yet very cozy with room for all; and very clean. Check in was a breeze and David provided all the information we needed clearly, even reaching out to insure everything was as expected. We will definitely consider staying again when in the area.

Always a comfortable stay
Our family Thanksgiving vacation at the Reagan House is always fun! Plenty of room to spread out if we want, or hang out together in front of the fireplace. The location is perfect to get to Wayah Bald, Bryson City, Hiawassee, Helen…. The list could go on. Plenty of yard for the dogs (or kids) to run around. The house is older, but that is part of its charm. Our family loves this place!
