Wir waren im September in diesem wunderbaren Hotel. Der Service ist wirklich sehr gut und persönlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gerne wieder in dieses Hotel zurück kommen.

We had a wonderful experience in Cartagena staying at Hotel Quadrifolio. The room was large, very clean, with high ceilings, comfortable bed, nice large shower, and powerful AC. We loved the colonial architecture and beautiful design. The food was delicious and authentic! I must give the highest compliments to John, Rosa, Alice, Luis, Natalia and Nelson and other staff I can't remember everyone's names, but they were super friendly and helpful the entire stay. John did a great job every breakfast, there was so much food we couldn't eat enough! Rosa is an excellent chef. The staff did something special to celebrate my wife's birthday, which was really kind. We also enjoyed watching the Colombia vs Uruguay semifinal football match in the dining room with other guest and staff (really good mojitos)! Colombia won!!! We love and recommend Hotel Quadrifolio! Special thank you to Alice and Natalia for arranging our transportation and helping me when I couldn't find my passport! (It was in my luggage)

What a beautiful hotel. Walking through the big colonial door into an oasis of calm and history. Delightful and friendly staff - special mention to Fernando for the wonderful breakfast, the best scrambled eggs I’ve ever had! And my room was beautifully decorated, incredibly spacious, with a powerful raindrop shower. Location couldn’t have been any more central, just a 5 minute walk from Cafe del Mar for sunset and surrounded by the most wonderful bars and restaurants. A very safe location for a solo traveller. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here during our August family trip. We enjoyed the peaceful setting, the central location. The rooms (2 rooms, 2 + 3) were spacious, very clean and comfortable. We appreciated the welcome drink. The breakfast was delicious, with local homemade products and the service by John was outstanding. A very nice place in this beautiful city.

Absolutely wonderful. Beautifully decorated. Outstanding staff: attentive, kind and always ready to help. Comfortable beds and tons of pillows which I love. Very clean. I highly recommend it. A calm oasis in Cartagena. The food is also extremely good.

Excellent boutique hotel in the old town. Close to everything but also quiet and peaceful. The service was perfect! John, Luis and Alicia took excellent care of us. The 2 chefs including Rosa provided the best food - delicious and beautiful! We will return again.

Beautiful hotel, spacious and gorgeous rooms in great location to walk around town. We were greeted with a delicious welcome drink and a beautiful dessert. The service at Hotel Quadrifolio is impeccable. Everyone that works at the hotel is very friendly, kind and caring. John, Fernando and Senora Rosa were outstanding and made us feel like family! Breakfast was delicious and catered to our every want and need. One of the best places we have stayed in!

I can't say enough good things about Hotel Quadrifolio. From the moment you enter the courtyard, you enter a very special place. Mariano is a great host, who wants to make your stay memorable and comfortable. Room 6 is a huge room with the most amount of pillows I've ever seen on one bed. The bathroom is huge with great closet space. I was celebrating my birthday during this trip and was welcomes with a delicious red velvet cake. the A/C works great and is almost too cold. Trust me after the humidity of the city, it's a delight to walk into a nice cool respite. There's a portable blue tooth speaker which is also a nice touch. High ceilings and two terraces that overlook the pool. The furniture is unique and it's clear you're not in the average hotel. Very clean. The team is constantly tidying up and making sure everything is to your liking. John is a wonderful breakfast host who welcomes you with a worm smile. He's happy to help and make sure breakfast is a delight. He will also practice Spanish with you! The other kitchen staff Kahtalina and others are terrific. I'm sorry I forgot their names, but they absolutely deserve credit. Jorge is also terrific. The food at breakfast is delicious and fit for a king. Though I only had breakfast, I wish I had more time to try one of the other meals. I highly recommend. The area is also perfect. A central location - You're a brief minute walk from everything.

The hotel is beautiful, the atmosphere is great, the rooms are comfortable, and the food is very good. However, what Really makes a difference are the employees. Everyone from the moment you check in, when you go to have breakfast, when they make your room, when they open the door for you are outstanding. It is a hotel, exceeds your expectations

Hotel Quadrifolio is wonderful! The rooms are spacious with lovely products from Loto del Sur and the hospitality is truly top notch at every turn. I believe it was Mario who welcomed us with kindness and a refreshing drink and they even brought this wonderful carrot cake to our room as a welcome treat. We also had an incredible breakfast of coffee, orange juice, fresh fruit, and an arepa de huevo, served by John who was extremely friendly and accommodating. Rosa made delicious food. We would definitely stay here again when in Cartagena. Highly recommend!

Beautiful historic hotel in a wonderful quiet location in the old walled city. Fernando gave us a personal tour of the hotel and explained the history. Dinner was delicious as was the included breakfast. Luis was helpful also. Would recommend the hotel for a comfortable and unique stay.

Fernando and the other staff members showed our group the utmost quality service. The professional and friendly personnel made the property feel like home throughout our stay. All of our needs and wants were accommodated with graciousness. The property is lovely with plenty of places to lounge to escape the heat of El Centro. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The property location is top notch. We had easy access to anywhere we wanted to go and also quiet at night and early morning. Perfect!

Great ambience and service. Loved our cook Louisa and John for the amazing breakfast. The place has been restored with care and detail. Fresh flowers everyday just made it so special. Very convenient location, close to all the main attractions.

Wow! What a wonderful, beautiful place to stay for a wonderful family get together…celebrating a marriage and a 50th wedding anniversary. Amazing accommodations and atmosphere. All of the staff are top notch. John and Louis went above and beyond making sure we were well taken care of.

We were beyond excited for our stay at the hotel. This was the first time in seven years we were away without our kids, and we had arrived in Cartagena from an incredible stay in Medellin. I poured over reviews and picked this hotel because of all the wonderful comments about it being quiet , romantic , and wonderful service from the incredible staff. We were only here for two days, but unfortunately, although the staff was very nice, we did not experience what others did. There was an incredibly loud family that basically took over the whole hotel with very loud toddlers/young children ( about 4 -6 kids total) that were allowed to scream and run, and pound on our doors all day and very early in the morning. In fact, one day,,they were pounding on our door at 5:30 AM. The children were also allowed to run all around during breakfast time screaming so loudly we couldn’t even hear each other. We never were able to use the small pool because they took over the whole area splashing and screaming in the pool and outside of it, which was also right outside our room. There was no where for us to go during our entire stay that was relaxing or romantic. Again, I have children, but this is not the right place to stay with loud, young children. They either should’ve rented out the entire hotel or been encouraged to stay elsewhere. Also, the guests didn’t even attempt to tell their children to quiet down or behave. There was a very nice family with one child there the morning we left and it wasn’t a big deal at all. They were appropriate with their level of noise and didn’t disturb us in any way. In fact, this family, even though they had a child, seemed quite annoyed with the other family and kids as well. Although the staff was very nice and apologetic and said that they were going to credit our stay given all of our issues, this has not happened as of yet. I’ve had some communication with the hotel, but it has been over three months and I haven’t received a credit yet. Through reading other reviews, I see some people were offered additional meals at the hotel, but this was never offered to us. Overall, we had a wonderful trip to Colombia and our stay at the SOFITEL after this was lovely, but our stay at Hotel Quadrifolio was not the 5 star experience we were hoping for.
