카사 라모나(Casa Ramona)

I will start with the one positive, the view over the harbour is great, the smelly apartment with constant noise from the road & the band & music that comes from below is intolerable! I paid extra for the "Presidential Suite" & such an overrated description is just the 1st lie you will encounter from the property management ( U-GO.) You own top floor front porch was described to me as "Public Access" when l complained about employees walking around whenever they felt like it in front of my 3rd floor apartment! Also, if you like cold showers 24/7, then this is the place for you!

I paid extra for the "Presidential Suite" & got 1 star accomodation! The 1st thing is the smell hits you inside because they are too cheap to leave the AC running & the humidity in Cartagena is off the scale! Next is the constant noise due to the cheapest & flimsiest patio doors & windows l have ever seen! No hot shower during my stay & the on-site manager told me " in this hot weather we do not expect people to want a hot shower!"....Really! You will also have your top floor patio/terrace invaded by any employees of the restaurant below, or the maintenance staff, even if you have requested this not to happen & l was told by U-GO who run the property, "the balcony is a common area & not just for the occupant!" There is more, but I'm just so flabbergasted with the unprofessional way l was treated l will just ask you not to book here & find somewhere & something in a better area with better management!

Pros: - The staff at Casa Romana were incredibly friendly and always willing to assist. - The Japanese restaurant on the first floor was a delightful surprise, offering great food. - The location is ideal, being close to both the airport and the city center. - A 5-minute walk will take you to Carullo supermarket, a fantastic spot for enjoying local food at reasonable prices. Cons: - If you're an early sleeper, the restaurant's nighttime music might be a problem. - The street across the marina floods easily when it rains. - Walking late at night doesn't feel safe. - Unfortunately, there was no hot water in the shower. - Room cleaning was neglected for three days. - The faucet in the room was out of order, forcing us to brush our teeth in the shower. - They require pictures of your passport and entry stamp before arrival. - Considering the amenities, the price felt a bit steep. Overall Thoughts: Casa Romana has a lot going for it, especially its friendly staff and great food options. However, there are several areas that need improvement, such as room maintenance and safety concerns. While the location is convenient, the overall experience did not justify the price for me.

This a very nice little place to stay. Is short walking distance from everything you want in Cartagena. I got a room with a view and nice view of the marina. Place is very clean and quite for sleeping, and just a pleasant stay. Was very welcomed and tips etc. loved it

La ubicacion es perfecta par quienes quieren descubrir una nueva versión de Cartagena; la que pocos turistas conocen: la de los atardeceres irrepetibles, los yates y veleros de lujo; la de la comida deliciosa frente al mar o las caminatas en medio de gente local siempre sonriente y amable. La casa es un encanto, las habitaciones todas distintas; cuidadosamente decoradas, cuidando hasta el mínimo detalle. Camas cómodas, excelente conexión wifi, servicio amable y diligente; pocos escalones de uno de los mejores restaurantes de la ciudad y a solo 5 minutos del centro histórico ; con una vista absolutamente increíble.

Un excelente hotel y el servicios sensacional, tiene opciones para cena en el restaurante Miyagui y unos descuentos para vestidos de baño de Patricia Ramírez que me encantó, demasiado cómodo y muy lindas la habitaciones y cómodas….

Un excellent hôtel et des services sensationnels, il propose des options de dîner au restaurant Miyagui. Endroit super cosy, belle vue, personnel très sympathique, très belle chambre, confortable et avec de beaux détails. La nourriture du restaurant est exquise. Vraiment un séjour fabuleux. Recommandé à 100%

Estuve en Cartagena por trabajo y definitivamente Casa Ramona fue una excelente elección, muy buena ubicación pues está muy cerca al centro de convenciones. Además la atención de sus anfitriones fue excepcional.
