타마락 비치 리조트 & 호텔(Tamarack Beach Hotel)

While I do appreciate some of the extra touches provided at this hotel (robe, newspaper, free parking, list of activities, fireplace lit in lobby) there are some core areas that need improvement. The beds need to be replaced. The “hump” in the middle from years of people sleeping on the edge is the worst I’ve ever experienced. You literally feel like you are falling off the bed. Also, the carpets need to be replaced. It was ripped, torn and very old looking. I definitely felt the need to wear my flip flops at all times while walking on the carpet. The curtain was almost black from grease, grime and dirt from people opening the curtain. Needs to be cleaned or replaced. The doors throughout the property were dirty around the handle from people’s hands etc. They just need a simple Clorox bleach wipe down. The heater in the room worked well to heat the room but it was so loud we jumped every time it turned on and couldn’t have it on while we slept. While the location is amazing and the views spectacular, I will not be able to return unless these areas are addressed. Thank you very much for you consideration.

Free parking on property. Excellent housekeeping staff. Large rooms with plenty of towels

I stayed here with my two daughters and felt safe. We walked to dinner at Carlsbad village and grabbed yummy treats and the strawberry shack. The hotel fitted our needs. We were able to get DVDs from the rec room and they provided continental breakfast in our way out. They have some of activities throughout the week and a good rec room to loan out games and DVD’s. It also has a pool table and ping pong table. There was one loud guest above us but luckily they eventually got settled. It was nice to have free parking in the under ground garage they provide for one car

Loved the convenience of the location to everything which is always nice. But besides the place being clean, safe and quie, the hotel staff was friendly and very helpful from start to finish! Hard to find such great customer service!

The King Bed room was large enough and very comfortable. the pool area looked nice and clean. The whole property was kept very clean as many workers started early in the day with cleanup.

The only thing I would love to know was the rooms downstairs are for the people who are booking for fure days . And we can’t really see the beach view.the other rooms are for timeshare people.Everything else was good.

Parking included in the cost of the hotel room. We could walk across the street to the beach. Comfortable beds and great view.

The room was an inside room view of the pool. We were on the first floor and it was like a prison room- small and had 2 small windows with NO view of the pool that would not even open. The air conditioning when turned on was like a jet engine running and the noise was so loud our friends in the room down the hall could hear it also. The fridge was also noisy and had to unplug it to get any sleep. The Breakfast was very odd also. The staff had to make your waffles and hand you out the plastic cutlery and it made it feel that we were really in prison to top things off. I do not recommend this place unless you take a outside view of the water room and want to have a poor quality breakfast.

A delightful stay. Everyone and everything bright and cheerful 😊 Staff friendly, helpful and courteous. Fabulous location with lovely ocean views. Great facilities and wonderful pool area 🏊‍♀️ Safe parking facilities. Village a mere few minutes walk away with an abundance of shops and restaurants.
