The staff were wonderful and helpful. The room was large and immaculately presented. Dinner in the evening was sublime. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and highly recommended

From the moment we arrived at Hotel Le Parc in Carcassonne, we were completely charmed. The service was warm, personal, and truly exceptional. The front desk clerk didn’t just hand us a key – they personally walked us to our room and gave us a full tour, making sure we felt completely at home. That level of hospitality set the tone for our entire stay. The room itself? Fantastic. Stylish, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches. But the true highlight? Breakfast. Out. Of. This. World. The eggs were so damn good they deserve their own Michelin star, and the literal boat of pastries they brought us was indulgent, over-the-top, and utterly perfect. We left feeling relaxed, spoiled, and already planning our return. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Hotel Le Parc is a gem – one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had.

We booked the Le Parc Hotel for one night on the 28th of August 2025. We arrived in early evening and we were greeted by a woman of dark hair who seemed irritated we interrupted her book reading. Not a good start. We had booked a room with a terrace and hot tub. We entered our suite and it was extremely cold. So cold we were unable to remove our jackets. We requested she turn on the heat and she declared it was summer and we would not be allowed heat even though the temperature registered at 62 Fahrenheit and 16 centigrade. We tried to turn on the towel warmer and it did not go on. We walked out in the terrace and the hot tub we paid for the use of to discover it empty. We went back to the front desk and she said too bad it’s broken. We found out later we were supposed to of been called and offered a rebate and that never happened. We spent a miserable night completely dressed under the covers and the bathrobes on top of us. We could hardly wait to get out of Le Parc in the mid morning, we left early. When we informed the pleasant young lady at the front desk she was horrified at our mistreatment by the front desk dark haired woman.

The most miserable experience of our expensive vacation. We arrived around 6pm after a long drive in early September 2025. An overweight dark haired receptionist checked us into our room located nearby the reception desk. We walked into the room and it was freezing cold about 62 degrees F 16 Centigrade. We immediately asked the receptionist where we could turn on the heat. She flat out refused, stating it was summer. No heat available. The automatic towel rack was inoperable as well. We walked out on the terrace where the hot tub was located and discovered it to be totally empty. We then walked back to reception and asked her what happened to the hot tub. She told us it was broken. We paid extra for the hot tub. We spent the night under thin covers, freezing and using our bathrobes to add some warmth on top of us. We dined at the restaurant in town she recommended and in the middle of the night I woke up with severe food poisoning from her top choice. The following morning, when we checked out, a lovely young woman greeted us. We relayed to her our experience, clearly horrified by the treatment we received, she promised to take the issues to the owner. She also informs us the hot tubs were not broken at all, just emptied early and we were supposed to have been notified in advance if our arrival for a discounted fee which we never receive. A zero for customer service, freezing cold room and failure to notify.

Very helpful staff, especially the evening gentleman at the desk who went out of his way to help us. We thought the suite was beautifully decorated—very kool and artistic. The setting on the deck was wonderful. We only stayed one night but didn’t leave the hotel. Oh,yes, I forgot to mention the definite romantic vibe.

We were given room 4 on the 2nd floor. There is a large balcony, with dining table for 2 on one side and comfortable chairs on the other side, overlooking lush greenery. Very private yet you can feel the cold morning breeze. The bed was very comfortable with sockets beside the bed- a plus! The shower and lavatory is covered by a black sheath curtain- shower pressure was strong. Shampoo conditioner and liquid soap were heavenly. Free coffee capsules, and some treats from the refrigerator like olives etc. There was a welcome treat of delicious blackberries, breadsticks and some Apricot pastry- everything was delicious. There was also an evening treat of chocolate waffle - also very delicious. Free coffee capsules. Breakfast is a MUST! You won’t be disappointed. It’s just very good and so much. The sheep yogurt and blueberry yogurt were very good. Service was impressive, our waitress Anissa was very informative and served with a smile. I can’t wait for our Tuesday dinner - will make a review after.
