Lézard Bleu Guest House

We had a truly wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Lizzie, who gave us a tour of the property and highlighted all the thoughtful amenities. The decor in the guest house is beautiful—rich with character and a real sense of place that makes you feel like you're in the heart of Africa. Chris was incredibly responsive and helpful leading up to our visit, and just as kind when we met him in person. I also really appreciated how safe the surrounding area felt. If I ever return to Cape Town, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Treat yourself. Stay here! This place has lots of personality. Artfully decorated, convenient location, safe neighborhood, nearby walking trails, immaculately clean, great breakfasts, and best of all, warm and caring host and staff. One person in our group chooses to stay here every time she is in Cape Town. This place is a winner.

Tranquil and beautiful gem. As if you are in the jungle, beautiful rooms and a luxurious pool, thoughtfully decorated. One of a kind place and Chris the owner is a warmhearted and fantastic guy making you feel at home straight away. I can’t wait to go back here.

We’ve just returned from our sixth or seventh visit to Lezard Bleu (I’ve lost track!) and we’ve already booked again for next year. The welcome from Chris, Niki and Lizzie is so warm and welcoming, and the breakfast is amazing too. Lezard Bleu is at the foot of Table Mountain, and is situated in a quiet residential area, but with a new coffee shop about 100m from the front door. We’ve stayed in the Corner Room, and most recently in the Tree House which has amazing views of the city and of the greenery of Table Mountain. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Danke für die schöne Zeit die wir im Lezard Bleu verbringen durften. Wir hatten 4 Nächte das Baumhaus . Eine atemberaubende Aussicht und eine herrliche Ruhe durften wir dort genießen. Chris war ein supernetter Gastgeber und er hatte ein ganz liebes Team, die uns jeden Wunsch erfüllten. Ob Dinner Empfehlung mit Reservierung, oder Ausflugsvorschläge, alles wurde uns erfüllt. Wir denken aber das warme Herz des Hauses ist Lizzy! Sie war so lieb zu uns, dass bei der Verabschiedung sogar Tränen geflossen sind . Danke liebe Lizzy!!! Wir können nur jedem dieses tolle Gästehaus empfehlen. Man fühlt sich von der ersten Sekunde wie in einer lieben Familie aufgenommen. Wir haben auf unserer Südafrikatour selten so etwas erlebt. Dankeschön an das ganze Team von Chris. Wir kommen wieder.

Das Lezard Bleu ist ein Juwel, gleich unterhalb des Tafelberges gelegen! Ein Guesthouse, wie man es sich wünscht. Mit formidablem Frühstück, das von "Lizzy" (eine Perle) liebevoll zubereitet und serviert wird. Die Auswahl ist perfekt und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die liebevolle Ausstattung der Unterkunft lässt die künstlerisch-musische Hand des netten Besitzerpaares Niki und Christ spüren. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, der eingewachsene Garten mitsamt dem Pool eine Augenweide! Der Blick auf den Tafelberg wunderbar. Die Zimmer individuell gestaltet mit guten Betten - das Highlight ist der "Tree-Room" mit herrlichem Ausblick. Die Entfernung zur Waterfront ca. 10 Min. und mit "Uber" überhaupt kein Problem. Insgesamt ist das Lazard-Bleu eine "Wohlfühlen-Unterkunft", zu der man gerne wieder zurück kehrt, denn nicht nur Cape Town sondern auch das Lezard Bleu ist mehr als eine Reise wert!
