After biking around the region, we arrived at the hotel at 5pm. There was no one on the reception, so we phoned the mobile number. It was answered by someone who sounded cross that we were disturbing him. After waiting for 15 minutes, the owner arrived. We were then promptly told (there were given absolutely no opportunity for discussion) that from the three rooms we had booked, and paid for several months ago, we are only now having two rooms (I assume he had sold the third room). Naturally, we have requested a refund – but I have only received insulting emails. Is money more important to this hotel owner than say having a decent reputation as a good hotelier? Anyway, I'm still cross so I’m off to talk to Exodus travel next week.
