So, we ended up here after our original hotel (Vell Mari) cancelled just before we were about to fly out. On arrival we were given a room that I can only describe as ‘in the basement’…….we had a lovely view of some car wheels……. However, when we asked, the following morning we were moved to a second floor room with a decent balcony with views of the mountains and glimpses of the sea and river….. The staff were fantastic, they were polite and helpful. The food was probably typical ‘all inclusive’ fare, but I have to say probably some of the better ‘all inclusive’ food we have eaten….theme nights every night, in particular the sushi and sashimi on offer at the Asian night were probably restaurant quality. The place is spotlessly clean, from the room to poolside…..loads of sunbeds and there is no ‘stupid o’clock race for the beds’. There is ‘entertainment’ around the pool but it’s not at all intrusive. 2 very minor criticisms. Only one socket available for charging devices in the room and the bathroom was a bit dated…….but I’m nit -picking here. This is quite simply an excellent place for a nice break in the Sun.

We were moved here after our original booking was cancelled the day before! But we have definitely landed on our feet with this one! Fabulous hotel. Staff are all very friendly and attentive, we are all inclusive and the food selection is amazing! So much choice and lovely fresh produce. Plenty of room around the pool, even with a few people doing the early towel on the lounger grab, there is still lots available. Easy walk in the main town and shops. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, memory foam mattresses which are lush. Having read the reviews, we bought a small extension lead, so the one plug socket isn't an issue, and as others have said, mind the big step down on the balcony! We will return to this hotel for sure.

We stayed at Exagon Park for a long weekend break. Overall we had a great stay: - the pool area is spacious and there are ample sun loungers so no need for the early morning dash - the hotel is spotlessly clean - the beds are firm and very comfortable - the aircon worked well - the rooms however are very dated, with limited plug sockets - the bathroom was ok, but the shower curtain over the small bath was a nightmare - breakfast was good and had the typical choices - lunch and dinner were repetitive and mixed quality. Although the fish options are cooked fresh, they were frequently overcooked and dry. The salads were pretty much the same each mealtime - staff were great in the reception, bar and pool bar. The cleaners were particularly friendly and wore large smiles - Chris the animation guy was also great and didn't bother you if you didn't want to join in with a particular activity - the beach is lovely and there is plenty of room to lie on the sand if you don't want to pay for a lounger and umbrella - we had lunch at the beach bar MAOI, which was really good and similar to UK prices. The staff were great and it broke up the monotony of the food at the hotel - the tennis court is also good and we didn't have any issue with availability So overall, it was a great stay, but I probably would recommend half-board rather than All Inclusive and enjoy lunch at the local bars and restaurants.

Visited for a week at the end of May as a family with 2 teenagers. Had 2 rooms next to each other overlooking the tennis courts which was very pretty and peaceful. As many have already stated the rooms are dated but they are perfectly clean and the beds are comfy. Our ac in both rooms worked well and we slept well. The bathroom could do with being updated as the shower over the bath and the shower curtain is annoying. But again everything is clean and the water is hot. We didn’t bother with the safe as you need to pay and it’s too tiny to put more than passports in. All the staff we met were so friendly and helpful. There are a lot of German holiday makers but I have no issue with this and didn’t feel we English were treated any different. The hotel grounds are lovely. The pool area is surrounded by vegetation making you feel like you are very secluded. The pool is huge and plenty of space for everyone to enjoy themselves. My boys loved being able to play ball in the pool and use inflatables. There is a lifeguard and he seemed very efficient. Once telling my son not to run as it’s dangerous and once helping him get on an inflatable in the pool. End of May the outside pool water temp was very pleasant. Even my husband who hates cold water was happy using the pool. The inside pool is a lovely temperature but do be careful in there as the floor in the corridor inside gets crazy slippy and I saw a man fall hard one afternoon. We were half board. Food is good and pretty typical of this type of hotel. Standard buffet food. Good choice, tasty and looks nice. As with most places it’s getting a bit boring after a week. They do a different joint each evening- lamb, pork, duck, ribs and this was always very good. The dinning room can gets very busy. We either went to dinner at opening or after 8pm for a more enjoyable experience and a table outside. Did not watch any entertainment nor join in the daily activities. The animation team were not pushy with I appreciated. Also like that there was no music around the pool. So peaceful. Also you won’t struggle to get a lounger by the pool as there are so many and such a huge area to pick from. 5-15 minute walk to bars, restaurants and small shops. Big Lidl 5 minute drive. Definitely recommend at the right price. In fact my parents have booked and are going next week!

Visited with family for a special surprise birthday. Arrived in early hours of morning. Reception not very friendly on first impression, Rooms ok, bit dated, only one plug socket, we faced the rear of the building overlooking tennis court which was pleasant. Rooms were very hot, air con hardly blowing to be honest. Bathroom ok size, shower curtains sticks to you in shower over bath. Shower also flooded the bathroom even with curtain inside the bath. Breakfast ok, not always hot, no sausages any morning. Food ran our quick staff slow at filling up. Bread area small and causes congestion of people. Cups ran out near hot drink machines. Not many tables for 4 people mainly set up for couples. Hotel and staff focus mainly on german people in every aspects speaking to them more and in the food options which is a shame. We went half board, drink prices are reasonable. Pool area, sunbeds and outside bar area in a bonus, really large area, bar staff prob the most friendliest in the hotel. Always got a sunbed. Pathway down to beach from hotel really good only a few minutes walk. First time visiting this area, the hotel is very out of the way to all amenities even a shop.
