Seaview Guesthouse

We stayed at SEAVIEW for two nights end of June. Our bedroom had a lovely view across Carlingford Lough and mountains which was magical at night with the lights twinkling across the Lough. The bed was so big you needed to txt each other! The room our daughter was in had a lovely mountain view. SEAVIEW is a delightful guesthouse with two of the nicest hosts you could ask for., Martina and Brendan. Having arrived tired after long journey and not wishing to go back out Martina said she could order a takeaway and set dining room up. She even said she would cook something for us as there was delay with delivery due to rd closure following accident. The takeaway did arrive and Martina provided hot plates and whatever drinks we wanted. Her kindness was much appreciated. .. We stay at a lot of guest houses and know a good one ….. this one not just good it is the best! There’s a fridge on landing with bottled water and no need to chill your wine in sink ( i speak from experience) ! . There is a lift although stairs are wide and manageable for anyone perhaps less agile. There’s lovely terrace area too., and ample parking spaces. SEAVIEW is in perfect location for exploring beautiful MOURNE area. There are bars and restaurants in Rostrevor and Warrenpoint . ( we liked Rostrevor Inn) . The Silent Valley worth a visit and there is a car ferry crossing the Lough to Carlingford . Takes 20 mins and costs £19. 5O . The drive to Slieve Gullion is lovely too. There is a cafe and play area for the children. The area has a wealth of attractions and SEAVIEW is one!, Stay and see! Lovely house. lovely hosts…. what more is needed?

A wonderful weekend at a Cinch retreat staying with the wonderfully welcoming Brendan & Martina. Perfect location to explore. Accommodation & views amazing. Fabulous bedding, such a comfy bed & pillows. Breakfast delicious. What a team!

My friends and I had the pleasure of staying at Seaview Guesthouse in March and had the best time! This was my second stay here and it did not disappoint. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly. We wanted for nothing our entire stay with them. We had the most delicious customized breakfasts, teas and coffees. Our rooms all had en suites and were so clean and comfortable. Then there are “the views!” The scenery from the guesthouse are out of this world between the sea and ferries, sheep, on one side and the Mourne Mountains on the other, I’d honestly go back just to sit on their deck! finally, one of the best highlights if staying is simply the hosts themselves, Martina and Brendan. They made us all feel right at home and part of the family. There’s never a dull conversation and they are just so warm and accommodating to their guests. I cannot recommend this guesthouse and our hosts enough!

One of best guest houses we have ever stayed in, all perfect, views, room, shower, breakfast, owners (Martina and Brenden) all absolutely brilliant, spotlessly clean, had the best day and night here, this is a wee hidden, we will be back very soon...

We loved our stay at Seaview and wish we had stayed more than one night. Brendan and Martina took great care of us and we enjoyed talking with them. The rooms were spacious and really comfortable. The breakfast was massive and delicious. Can’t beat the views!

We would give this a six out of five if we could. We had an excellent time at Seaview. The room and beds were comfy. The bathroom a good size and well set out. The breakfast enormous and excellent. The views stunning. Our hosts were utterly delightful and a pleasure to talk to. We took their advice and headed back over Strangford Lough and saw the dolphin 🐬
