Lovely view from hotel room and lovely big bathroom. Lovely helpful staff food was good. Spa was lovely and clean very good treatments. Would deffo recommend for a romantic break away. I loved that the waitress came out Friday evening where we were sat and fed Percy the pheasant his granola in a cup was so lovely to see !!!

We decided to have a Spa in our Anniversary our experience here is exceptional all the members of the staff front desk, waiting staff, Spa staff , housekeeper,porter are all superb. Thank you all for the lovely experience . Highly recommended. Food ,service , serene atmosphere cozy room.

Booked the deluxe Spa experience for me and my daughters, what a wonderful 24 hours. We were checked into one of the suites, and treated to a bottle of bubbly, a lovely personal touch with handwritten thoughts. The suite was stunning, very comfortable with a great selection of drinks and homemade cookies. Small spa with two rooms out of action when we arrived, however quickly repaired albeit meaning the plunging and banging interrupted the calm for a short period. The massage however, was one of the best, high praise as I've had some amazing ones in very recommend hotels/Spas. Evening meal excellent, cocktails enjoyable and a lovely breakfast choice. We asked for extras added to the full English, no quibble and they were happily provided. A very pleasant stay ended with a complementary visit to Bowood house and gardens, and a bonus trip to the woodland, very beautiful bluebells and rhododendrons. Thank you all for a wonderful stay, would definitely visit again.

We visited the restaurant for an afternoon tea for 3 people. It’s a beautiful restaurant and we were seated immediately. There was a great choice of different drinks to accompany the afternoon tea and the food was lovely. They catered for our dietary requirements and explained the selection when they served the food. I’d also say it was reasonably priced. The only negative thing I’d say is it wasn’t busy but no one came over and checked if we wanted any more drinks. I had to go and approach them to ask for more drinks and again to ask for the bill. I wouldn’t say the service was brilliant which is a real shame for such a beautiful venue.

Shout out to Seb and the reception and restaurant teams at Bowood today for going out of their way to help my friend's 95 year old father feel comfortable. Thank you too for accommodating our late arrival for lunch - which was delicious, and in such a lovely setting.

A very nice country house hotel This was our second stay in the last 6 months and we will go again. The rooms are spacious well equipped and with lovely views over the golf course We enjoyed the restaurant. The staff were all very pleasant and attentive The spa is excellent
