스미 타호나 푸에르테벤투라(Smy Tahona Fuerteventura)

The accommodation needs updating and needs TLC until they get round to it. It is very clean, staff are friendly and happy to help. where we had fridge and kettle need to have double plug, they was quick and gave me a extension lead to use both together. it a shame bar inside not opened as we had windy nights and we was sat pool bar with patio heaters on which i didnt do. Lovely that in your accommodation you are told about put your towels down around the pool, that they get removed if not being used so no blocking sunbeds. could do with some paperwork for you to keep on your visit on what time you choice for meals and also what time snacks available on the all inclusive. It a lovely touch that you get a towel for you to use at the pool i not been to hotel that gives you them.. Food is good for a 3star only thing would be a problem in higher season is only 1 toaster in dining room. I full enjoyed my stay here. I would stay here again.. YOU ALL SHOULD BE PROUD OF YOURSELF XX I know people have put about road outside but the hotel can not be held responsible for this as it down to council..

Lovely staff, great location biggest downside there is only the outside pool bar brrr in the evenings, 7 years ago the inside one was in use. Didn't like the one token each to get drinks. In the evening folk were up and down to bar all night for half pint in plastic tumblers, cocktails very weak. No token no drink. Shame as you wear the bands. Food was hit or miss but was always salad to fall back on. Road works were horrendous, no siesta there. Pretty place so shame things let it down. Very cold in apartment had to get more blankets. Would we go back...sadly no.

We decided to escape the winter weather, 6 of us 3 couples. We had the most amazing time at SMY tahona. We were a little concerned as there were a few negative reviews. There was absolutely nothing I could fault. All needs met by the wonderful staff, Dani at pool bar, Miguel animations who constantly entertained us. The cleaning staff worked so hard to keep the place spotless. The standard of food was exceptional you can see on my pics there was always a multiple choice fro breakfast. Lunch and evening meals, snacks by the pool We celebrated my husbands birthday whilst there and the staff made him a special cocktail, gave him bottle of cava. It was all brill thank you Tahona

Well what can I say what a fantastic holiday, was a bit disappointed at check in as I had wanted 3 rooms together. But convinced to look where they were by manager and must say they were perfect a room between us all which worked out very well. Staff perfect all friendly from the domestics, bar staff, kitchen and reception very approachable, food I can’t believe the bad reviews we allways found something delicious to eat from the salads to the freshly cooked fish, there is a micro wave if it’s a bit cool but we never needed it, big shout out to Miguel (peep peep), Daniel and all other staff at smy we are already looking to come back. Also perfect location roadworks are not heard if you round the pool, Thank you tahona for a fantastic holiday from the 6 of us xxx

Just got back from 8 days at Smy Tahona and already looking to go back! Is the hotel perfect? No. Are you ever going to find a hotel that ticks every single box for every single person? Definitely not. However, with a few improvements, Tahona would be a lot closer to achieving this. We booked this hotel as a last minute all inclusive getaway. It was our first proper holiday together and neither of us had been to Fuerteventura before, so were going in just hoping for somewhere to relax in the sun and get a break from day-to-day life. Our expectations of our stay were exceeded massively. We arrived at the hotel at around 7:30pm. The receptionist was lovely and explained to us that they had two options for all inclusive, as meal times were staggered to accommodate all of the guests. You can choose between the earlier times (blue wristband) or the later times (red wristband). The options were: Breakfast: 7:30 - 9:00 or 9:00 - 10:30 Lunch: 13:00 - 14:00 or 14:00 - 15:00 Dinner: 18:30 - 20:00 or 20:00 - 21:30 We chose the earlier times, but liked that they had the options. As we had arrived late, the receptionist said we could go in and have dinner despite it almost being the end of the earlier times, which was great as we were hungry! The food is a mixed bag - but again, you will never be able to please everyone. I am a fairly fussy eater, but was still always able to eat plenty. There is a lot of variety, with fresh fruit, salads and bread at every meal, as well as the main dishes. The chicken croquettes were a firm favourite! My partner is a lot more adventurous with food, and his only gripe was that he wishes some of the food had more flavour. I think it is done this way so that the food is more suited to everyone's tastes, as things being too hot/spicy/strong would put people off. The breakfast was our favourite - we looked forward to it every morning! The churros are to die for. With the meals, we would have loved it if there had been a menu in reception for each lunch/dinner time so we would have known what to expect - a small improvement which we feel would make a big difference! In terms of drinks, we were happy. Each meal time you had access to fizzy drinks, beer and wine on tap, as well as tea/coffee and fruit juice machines at breakfast. There is also a fresh water machine at all times. At the pool bar, you had all of the above as well as cocktails from a machine and spirits - although branded ones were not in the all inclusive. You have to order drinks at the pool bar as opposed to helping yourself, which is fine as there were always staff on the bar. Special mention to Maria who worked on the bar a few times during our stay and always served with a big smile! With the bar, you are given a small token when you return your cups and cannot get another drink without giving them a token - this was an issue for us a few times as we weren't told about this upon check-in or given a token to trade in, so when ordering drinks we were ver

We arrived late at night and were given a room which was clean with a mini fridge and a kettle with very comfy beds. The breakfast had a good choice of food as did lunch and dinner the pool area and bar were clean and the sunbeds were in good condition towels were provided by the hotel overall we had a very relaxing holiday

I cannot fault this hotel The caring staff have been incredible I moved to this hotel to be near to my husband in hospital who suffered a stroke at the Iberostar in Jandia They helped me find a nice room extend it when he came out of hospital and extend while we wait for a flight home special mention to Giancarlo he is so lovely Natalia and all the catering staff the manager very professional sorted us out re paying as we go for dinner in the evening some nights and are bed and breakfast Rooms are cleaned daily happy smiling cleaners very clean and great value for money there is entertainment if wanted a nice clean pool plenty of sun beds sun terrace pool bar etc

We have just returned from the Tahona and in our opinion we can not fault it. A very lovely lady checked us in and as it was late eve she did her absolute best to get us our key quickly and to get us in the resaurant to eat as it was nearly closing. I do wish i got her name so i could say thank you to her. Our room was ok.we were room 322. The only thing i would say to make it better is replace the outside light cover that is broken, change the bathroom sink that has a crack in it. Yes a bit of updating left to do but they are in the process of updating. Be patient with them as they are doing there very best but cant do everything in a day.our food was ok. Hot fresh and enough to choose from. We had a lovely poolside view from our room which was lovely. The staff were amazing. They interacted and laughed with us. They were absolutely brilliant. I did not get all there names but want to do a mention for Luis, Maria, Dani and Alex. Bar and reception guys. Also thank you to the restaurant staff and the house cleaners who just never stop. I am a cleaner on a holiday park so i know how hard the job is. And finally ty to a lot of the spanish guests at the hotel for being so lovely. We made the effort to interact with them and they were nothing but pleasant back to us. They even had the patience to try and teach me some spanish dancing which is not as easy as it looks but i will keep practicing now i know some of the basics. So all in all we had the best time away so thank you very much everyone.
