호텔 체크인 카탈로니아(Checkin Catalonia)

I was here for Ironman so the whole town was geared up for it. They did a 5 am breakfast on race day which was great and this was an official Nirvana Ironman travel hotel although booked independently cost about €700 less. It was great value for the trip costing about £260 for the 5 days B&B. Plenty of places to eat nearby and all reasonable. Rooftop pool was amazing and very cold which was good as the weather was so hot. Lots of choice for breakfast and dinner was also really good. coffee in the bar was only €1.40 and it was free to park outside as long as you find a space, but there tended to be spaces later in the evening. Bikes were allowed in the room and in the lift. Room was basic but comfortable and had a fridge which was useful and a balcony and was air conditioned. it was only a few hundred yards from Ironman registration and the finish line so position A for everything I wanted. Staff were friendly and helpful but I couldn’t help but feel sorry for anyone booking it through Nirvana

Miserable staff. Cold food. No entertainment. Had money stolen from room, manager wasn’t interested. Never even said thank you or goodbye when we left. Take towels as they guard theirs with their life. Not enough glasses you have to take glasses back to bar. Pool on top floor so if you want a drink you have to go down 9 floors to get a drink. They did have vending machine top floor but had to pay but we were all inclusive. Felt they didn’t want to give you anything or make your stay pleasant. All inclusive drinks stop at 10pm. Made to wait nearly two hours on arrival for our room and not even offered a drink as they said we had to wait for wrist bands when they let us in our room. Two small pools one in shade all day. Hotel was clean that was the only good thing.

Just come back from a family holiday at this hotel. Hotel itself is nice, cleaners do a great job of keeping it clean and tidy, rooms were always immaculate. Food in restaurant is nice and the waiters and waitresses were always lovely..however the hotel is majorly let down by the rest of the staff, apart from the older gentleman who wears glasses on the bar and the very tall young man who works on bar who were semi friendly the rest were awful. There’s a young small lad that works on the bar he was there most days and nights and he was beyond miserable he made you feel uncomfortable ordering a drink he could never understand what the drink was anybody ordered even though I ordered the same gin&tonic every night I’d have to point to the bottles, I’ve never met such unfriendly people! The reception staff don’t as much as crack a smile it was the manager of the hotel we checked out with and he never said 1 word! It’s like the workers are in prison being forced to work, I’ve never known anything like it! When I’ve visited Spain in the past they’re usually very overly friendly and very family oriented! Not at this hotel and it’s a shame because for that reason I would not come back nor recommend it to anybody! Also the Wi-Fi you pay for which I didn’t mind doing but it doesn’t work the connection is terrible!

Worst holiday ever with my family, no eye contact from the reception staff, no welcoming, very unprofessional, the food very tasteless and very cold, chef's standing iddle watching while people are dining, no entertainment at the bar,boring and empty,the only good thing about it was the sea view of our room, rooms filthy ,no changing of beddings,it's a no for me.

Un peu dessus des repas et la sale à manger; Mais pour le prix, en all inclusive, ça va. Oubliez le vin rouge, il est servi frais... Si vous demandez un panier repas pour le midi, pensez le matin à vous l'agrémenter, les sandwich sont très (voir trop) basiques. Les critiques que j'ai pu lire ici sur le personnel sont quelque peu abusives. Ils sont tous multi-taches et travaillent beaucoup. Pour le stationnement c'est vraiment galère. Soit il faut avoir beaucoup de chance, soit aller se garer à perpette. Mais sinon, bien placé, tant par rapport à ville, la plage... que la région. Bref, je vous conseille

Nous sommes allés avec l’offre Veepee (vente privée) site français pour une offre sur l’hôtel booking catalonia. Déception ! Le personnel de l’hôtel notamment une femme à lunette le matin (semaine du 4 au 10 septembre) vous traite n’importe comment à la réceptionw Exemple : nous devions avoir des serviettes de bain inclus dans l’offre. Elle nous a dit fermement que c’était impossible et que ce n’était pas compris alors que notre contrat le stipulait. L’hôtel est hyper mal insonorisé, Ils ont fait une fête le samedi soir au 3eme étage, lieu de la réception, nous étions au 6eme, nous entendions tout. J’imagine même pas ceux qui étaient juste au dessus. Des enfants à tout va qui crient, avec 0 respect des personnes qui les encadrent. Le demi pension (nourriture de faible qualité, mais vraiment très limite). Tranquillité : On entend ce qui se passe chez le voisin au vue de l’épaisseur des murs… Oubliez les photos paradisiaques de, La piscine à débordement avec les vitres sales, ne permet pas de profiter de la vue. Habitués aux hôtels de ce type, Nous ne recommandons pas et regrettons notre passage dans cet hôtel. Seul point positif

El hotel es normal para pasar unos días el trato del personal muy bueno sobre todo el directo Tulio , la comida mejor que muchos sitios de más estrellas y sobre todo tranquilo para relaj**** de todo un año duro

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour à Calella ! L'hôtel était parfait en tout point ! La piscine sur le toit est juste incroyable avec une vue a couper le souffle ! Aucun bruit, très bonne literie, chambre spacieuse tout confort. Les buffets sont excellents, produits très frais au petit déjeuner rien ne manquait ! Du salé du sucré seul petit point négatif les jus de fruits a base de concentré. Les buffets du soir vraiment excellent ! La situation géographique était bonne la plage pas trop loin et pour le centre si on est bon marcheur ça va il faut compter 25 a30 mn a pieds. Ce qui est sur c'est que nous reviendrons !!
