Viva Cala Mesquida Resort & Spa

Room needed a refresh - was clean but a bit run down in the bathroom and kitchen areas. Canteen was very good - very good range for breakfast and evening meals and good wine and beer which was included in the price for us.  Parking was a bit tricky but do-able. The local beach area was nice and quiet and the facilities for kids where pretty good. The whole place kinda reminded me of a Spanish Hi De Hi.

We thank you for a pleasant stay at the Viva Hotel. Always, when visiting Majorca, we choose the Viva Hotel accommodation due to the rich animation offer that they provide. The animators at this place are full of energy and ready, at any time, to do what ever they can to make the stay more enjoyable. Cindy - animator from Argentina, made our vacation better than any other. Her smile, energy and engagement pushed us to already plan our vacation at the same destination next year. Cindy has become a core memory, since thanks to her we have taken part in zumba, aqua aerobics, volleyball, archery, yoga and much more. Cindy is an amazing person and the hotel is lucky to have her in their team.

We went with our family---- 4 adults and 2 children ages 8 and 11. the staff, food and kids clubs were 1st class. the 2 children had a wonderful time, and the kids club team were truly amazing, and obviously love and understand children. The only downside was that it definitely is not suitable for an adult wheelchair user--me! There are lots of ramps, but many are far too steep for the wheelchair--- and the person who is pushing it!!!!!!!!!!! The lifts up to the dining room were out of order on a few occasions, which was rather worrying, as there alternative walk was mega steep. We were advised by our travel agent that the hotel was suitable for an adult wheelchair user, but it really isnt.

Best experience of a Hotel/Spa. All the staff where Smiling, happy,polite,and catered for my every wish and desire. A perfect place to recover from my cancer operation.

Best animation ever with a great team so kind with children. Various quality shows. Great food and amazing place : confortable rooms and beds, nice pools, direct access to the beach

Lovely hotel overall with good kids facilities, good variety of food in buffet, more meat free/vegan options would be helpful. The outdoor pools too cold apart from the heated in April. Nice adjoining room, small kitchen but I didn't cook there so it was fine.

Just back from 5 nights at Cala Mesquida. We had a great time and were looked after by the team at every opportunity. They bought a single bed in the room so our boys could sleep separately, managed dinner reservations to make sure we got into one of the a la carte restaurants. Rooms are spacious, plenty of beds at the pools, kids played football in the evenings at pitch over the road against neighboring hotel, food was great including the buffet. We would recommend a visit her to anyone.

Amazing facilities, beautiful beach, great animators and evening shows. Great place to spend quality time with the family, tons of activities for the kids and plenty to do for adults. Food variety and great value, we got the all inclusive option

The hotel complex is huge, and comprises of blocks of apartments rather than the usual high rise. This is remote, but that didn't bother us as we took a short bus ride to Cala Redjada to buy a few bits which wasn't expensive. We asked to be moved due to disability needs. This was done within the hour of our arrival and included moving our cases too. The food is good with great choices to suit everyone. The main pool was cold, but the time of year won't have helped. There's a heated pool which we made use of. We went to the beach with clear blue water and us well looked after We had a 6 and 12 year old with us. The eldest doesn't normally like going to the kids clubs, but was happy to go every day here. The activities for the kids were varied and started at 11; running through til 10pm for the older kids. We got to chill out knowing they were in safe hands. It was the 6 year oldest birthday whilst we were there & the animation team made it very special. He got a lovely letter and Bufo mascot toy from them, plus they had him up on stage to receive a certificate and medal. We've been to a lot of hotels and this is by far the best kids animation team. The fact that they love what they do really shows. Don't know how they remember every child's name, but they do. If you're looking for a great holiday where the kids are kept entertained all day long, then choose this hotel; you won't be disappointed 😉
