Valentin Star Menorca - Adults Only

I checked in on 17th October 2024,was greeted by a nice friendly receptionist,very welcoming,with a nice cold bottle of water and a cold wet refreshing flannel as did all guests due to heat,went up to my room absolute stunning,celing fan and also aircon, safe in room,lovely bathroom,power shower,music through the speakers in bathroom,which U can turn up or down or off with a flick of a switch,nice soundproof room,and balcony over looking the harbour so nice to wake up to,room is cleaned every day to,the restaurant wow so nice with large choice at breakfast 8am to 11am and dinner 6.30pm to 9pm,lovely food beautiful hot and cold selection and a chef at hotplate,the waiting staff outstanding,so nice welcoming,the service outstanding. There is a massive swimming pool to warm and just bliss plus massive whirlpool a nice relaxing time,lots of seating round pool area,and waiting staff taking orders for drinks or food.There is evening entertainment to in hotel such fantastic time,overall I will give a 100% happy time I had so would love to come back again top hotel in Menorca,with harbour and bars restaurants and supermarkets and more.I would so recommend this hotel and its an adults only hotel as well,happy times and memories

From Isobel & Jackie We have just recently returned from our 8th visit the Valentin Star Hotel. We would just like to say thank you to all the wonderful staff especially Carmen at Reception for all of the help that she gave us, she is truly an asset to the Hotel, Dani who is always cheery and friendly and Vincente the Restaurant Manager who is so attentive and keeps everything running smoothly along with all of his great staff. We went to see the fantastic Il Duetto on the last night of our holiday with the only disappointment being they were in the large function room which was extremely hot and would have been better had they been on the Terrace on such a warm Summer evening. Hopefully they will be back next year on our 9th visit to a superb Hotel. Isobel & Jackie

Have just returned from the Valentin Star and I’m not sure if I should write a review about this diamond of a hotel as I want to keep it a secret, it is a two story hotel in a prime position right on the marina, build around a lovely lagoon style pool, the public rooms are kept to a very high standard, the restaurant’s, bars and entertainment venue all very smart. But mostly what makes this hotel are the staff the whole lot of them, absolutely top of the shop, they all know how to give people are great holiday. I have to give mention Lydia the entertainments coordinator, she makes it such fun around the pool, not pushy, but if you like participating in activities she makes it great, we had paddle board Pilates, aqua tai chi to name but a few. The is entertainment every night and is of a very good standard. One more thing at 4pm every day you get a free chilled glass of champagne brought to your sun lounger and my wife had her birthday whilst we were there, we never told anyone but on the day there was a knock at our door and champagne and nibbles were delivered, what a lovely touch. So in conclusion a lovely adults only hotel in prime position in the great resort of Cala’n Bosch

Everything about this hotel was top class service ,staff, pool, room , great value for money with top quality classy definitely recommend this hotel , we where getting picked up for transfer home and my husband got a call night before about a breakfast he went to reception to collect it and what was in the bag was amazing they went above and beyond

This place is amazing all the staff are wonderful, kind, helpful and go above and beyond to make your stay as nice as possible. The staff in dining area are really attentive and nothing is too much trouble every meal has been 1st class. The surrounding area is clean and plenty of bars to pop in for a drink, shops and all you need very close by. We will be booking again next year

Second time back to this hotel on halfboard. This is a wonderfull hotel but was a bit disappointed with certain changes. They have now introduced all-inclusive premium. We were unaware of this when we booked with jet2.A lot of seats were now being reserved in restaurant and certain areas like the entertainment room.It did make us feel like we were been treated like second class citizen's.The food in the restaurant is normally second to none.However! this time we found it was still good but the standard from previous stay had dropped a little.IE. empty trays of food,sometimes cold,meat still undercooked,searching for small spoons to eat certain desserts. Breakfast time we were feeling uncomfortable as we experienced tables being prepared for the evening next too you while having to search for a dressed breakfast table. That said the staff were excellent as usual.The facilities and rooms are top class.Would we return? Not sure as yet.
